Fat City used to be a hugely popular shop in Manchester until it unfortunately closed down. Thankfully it lives on through it's website and if anything the range of records on sale has increased dramatially. I expect to pay a bit more for a record than I would an mp3, however it's worth it for such quality products and Fat City go out of their way to stock only the finest music.

The website is a little scrappy, however it's extremely easy to navigate and since the shop has been taken over I've noticed that the sound clips of each record have become a lot longer - something that can't be said about some of it's competitors who tend to put up only 10 second snippets.

Shipping is always prompt and if they sell out of a product they are quick to get in touch and let you know by email - good personal service. It would be nice if the delivery cost was a little lower, however to be fair the products they sell are fairly heavy!
