Would Not Recommend For Disc Repair Service

I sent in a rare ps2 game with a bunch of small scratches (nothing deep) in to estarland for disc resurfacing. It worked up to a certain part in the game so I figure I would have it resurfaced since I've never had a problem with a game after resurfacing discs. Keep in mind that I was the only owner of the game so the disc had never had been resurfaced and should not have a problem. I sent it in to estarland despite the higher prices they charge because I thought they would be professional with their services. After about a week and a half of the game arriving at their repair place/store, I heard nothing and gave them a call. After the call they finally resurfaced it quickly the next day. They later called and told me that the game no longer even loads up so I said ok fine and paid them a dollar to have them ship it back to me. When I received the game back, I was shocked at the damage they had done to the disc. There were cleaning formula inside and BETWEEN the disc layers. No wonder it wouldn't even load anymore! Its one thing to do a proper job of disc resurfacing and have it not work. I would be ok with that. But whatever methods they used just completely destroyed the disc with cleaning formula and now the game wouldn't even load. I have resurfaced a lot of discs before and have never seen something like this happen. If you're looking to resurface discs, I would definitely not recommend estarland. They charge more than usual, takes forever to get such a simple task done, and has questionably methods. I suspect a lot of games they sell are also resurfaced and who knows what may happen to the games in the future with their questionable repair services? Unfortunately I sent in a rare game and am now out around 50 dollars. I suggest you do not make the same mistake as me.

Way Better Trade In Prices

I hate gamestop, let me get that out there, they tried to sell me a used PS3 at the new price when the system sold for 600USD, not a fun day if you ask me.

For classic stuff usually ebay was good but everything is pirated there from game discs to DS-GBA carts and playstation memory cards so buying anything on ebay is risky.

Found these guys after I was sick of ebay and they sell everything NES-PS3/360. Want atari games? They got them. So I was happy with their selection and I went to trade in some games after my console died, they gave me probably 10 bucks more than gamestop did.

Only thing they're missing is PC games which is a real let down but whatever.

Ordered 2 Xbox 360 Games From This Company On Frid

Ordered 2 Xbox 360 games from this company on Friday, October 29th. The following Monday, November 1st I saw my order was pending and decided to check the status of when it would be shipping. So I found out that since it was a gift for a friend that I had to confirm the shipping address before they would ship. Fine. I did this quickly over the phone and they told me it would be shipping soon and I would have an email confirmation. Not only did I never recieve any confirmations or anything, but I was never told to confirm my shipping address without me asking them for the status of my order via live support. Next, I was told the next day, Tuesday, November 2nd, that one of my items was out of stock, by the live rep, after inquiring once again as to the status...again no email communication, also the item appeared as "in stock" when I had ordered. So they told me it would be another 1-2 days until it would ship. Two days later, Thursday, November 4th, the items still have not shipped, and when I go to talk to a live rep, they are offline, having just missed them...leaving 2 hours before the hours posted that they are supposed to be availible. Also have sent 3 emails, none of which have recieved any replies. I would not recommend doing business with them.

Searched For Rare Video Game. I Found Some Sites T

Searched for rare video game. I found some sites that claimed to have it, only to have them pop up an "Out of Stock" or "Product Not Found" warning once I clicked to purchase. eStarland said they had it; described as "Used - complete", so I ordered it.

Placed order on Sunday night. Monday mid-day I got a confirmation that it mailed First-Class (very reasonable shipping costs also - never to be had on the likes of eBay anymore). It arrived 48 hours later and was exactly as described - Used, and in the original case, with manual. Near mint condition.

Estarland Customer Service Was Very Helpful. Ship

eStarland customer service was very helpful. Shipping was quick, game was priced better than anything I could find on Ebay. Game is hard to find elsewhere. Description of game was a little weird: Condition: Used - no all other accessories. But when I got the game it had the original box and manual. Not a bad point, really, just a comment.

I've Ordered 2 Model Kits, Both Of Them Are Availa

I've ordered 2 model kits, both of them are available and marked as able to delivered in 24H. But, what I got after giving my credit card number is one email told me that they informed me wrongly about the release time, one of my purchase became preorder item (should be available in 1 month, which is over their 2 week holding period).SO, I have to pay extra-shipping fee for their mistake.Already wrote 3 emails to try to cancel the order, but have received no reply as of yet. Cannot find a way to cancel through their site.

I Placed An International Order (i'm At Monterrey,

I placed an international order (I'm at Monterrey, Mexico, I live like 4-5 hrs from Texas).

My order was processed on 04/10 but as today 06/18 haven ' t received. I've sent so far 4 e-mails with no answer.

I decided to call them and they tell me that unfortunately, since is an International order, no tracking number was provided... what? First they told me to wait 20 business days. I waited. Then they told me to wait 45 days. I waited. Now they're telling me to wait 2 months and a half (due date 06/25).

I understand that due customs the order can get delayed but I can ' t believe there is no way to track the order, what if it is already lost or delivered to someone else? I have to wait 4-5 months so they're going to tell me to wait another couple months? I was surprised they only charged $6 for the shipping and handling, however, I wouldn't mind paying $39 for s&h like on ebgames and receive my order on 3 days THATS RIGHT, on ebgames I received my international order on 3 days.

If you are an international customer beware (specially if you live overseas).

Disappointed customer.

Today 12.29.08, I called them and spoke with an assistant from customer support who in less than 5 mins. gave me the credit from this order and placed a new one.

I'm so glad about this and I'm so thankful to the assistant who helped me with my issue.

(UPDATE) As of today 06.30.08, I haven't received my order and Estarland customer service haven't yet replied to any of my past 6 mails. I'm going for the 7th today.

I will update when I receive my order or it is cancelled and my money refunded.

Terrible. I Read Reviews Of Estarland, And Underst

Terrible. I read reviews of EStarland, and understood that they were painfully slow in fulfilling orders, usually with a two-week delay, so I went into this expecting in advance to be a little disappointed. I wanted a Trigun Kuru Neko backpack for my sister for Christmas, so I figured placing my order in mid-November (the 16th, to be exact) would get it to me on time.

As anticipated, EStarland wrote me back and said it would be delayed and the shipping date would be Novemver 29th. Ten days, that's about what the reviews said I could expect. Come December 19th, I still don't have the bookbag, a full month after placing my order. I give up. At least it only took a week to get me my money back. Guess they have more experience doling out refunds then delivering orders.

I Placed An Order With Estarland On October 26th A

I placed an order with eStarland on October 26th and paid with Paypal. My account information showed that the item was shipped out on October 27th. When I had still not received my item, and they were not responding to my emails, I filed a complaint with Paypal on November 11th. It was at that time that I received an email from customer service stating that my order had been placed "on hold" due to an incomplete address. They had my address, phone number and email address through Paypal, yet never contacted me to let me know this. I have emailed repeatedly asking for a refund to my Paypal account with no replies. The customer service has been terrible. The online support is either not there, logs off as soon as I type in a message, or takes an extremely long time to answer even the simplest of questions, probably to get you frustrated enough to leave the chat. Even then after waiting 30 minutes I was told that my order was shipped out on October 27th. After 48 minutes they finally told me what I had said in the very beginning, and said that they would turn it over to payment processing for a refund.

My dispute will be staying open with Paypal until I receive a refund.
