I had to look far and wide to find a "623" 6v 2.3ah lead acid rechargeable battery to replace a dead one in an RAC multi-torch, that was the right size (76.5 x 43 x 37mm). This place had the item and at a good price of £7 inc p&p. Battery arrived fast and in good condition pre-charged so I could test it was working straight away. The terminals were not in the exact same location as the original but this didn't matter as the supply wires just soldered onto the tabs with no issue. Well done, great experience for me and only UK based supplier I managed to find for this battery type.

I have used this site a number of times to buy rechargeable batteries (AA & AAA). They have always arrived in a reasonable period of time. I have been using the Vapex batteries for a number of years and am completely satisfied with them. Postage is very reasonable

In May I purchased a rechargeable battery for a toothbrush, however recently it lost it's charge after less than one minutes use, I phoned customer services on Wednesday afternoon about the problem and they offered without any quibbling to send me a replacement which arrived the following morning at 8.30AM. Without doubt the best company I have EVER dealt with and would recommend them

After quick searching on Internet I have found this company to buy some stuff to my airsoft gun. I have been impressed about variety of batteries and I didn't know what to choose so I called them and asked about few technical details and what they recommend. They were happy to help and I got answer for all my question. Soon my new batteries arrived by 1st class post and were well packed too. I could truly recommend these guys as they don't want to sell you their most expensive batteries but the most accurate ones. KEEP IT UP GUYS

I ordered a battery for my Airsoft gun after being told about these guys by a friend I go skirmishing with.

I paid for 1st class delivery just after 1 in the afternoon, firstly it took them an entire day to even send out my battery and they only told me they had done so when I emailed them and asked where it was and if it had even been dispatched, they sent me an email to say they had dispatched it, the email said:

"Your order has been dispatched today by First Class Royal Mail and should be with you within the next day or two. Royal Mail state that that their 1st Class Service is a 1-3 day delivery, although 90% of the time this is within 1 day."

This was 3 days ago, currently I am thinking that they might not of even sent it out at all, the reason for that is because I ordered from another retailer just after I ordered from here they said it would take 5 - 7 days for my product to be delivered they dispatched on the same day as component shop on a second class delivery and it got here in 1 day.

They took almost an entire day to reply to my email I sent them at which point they told me that they get 100's of emails every day, well baring in mind they are a tiny family run company that I am pretty sure runs from a house I find it very hard to believe that what they said is true.

They basically treat me as if I was being impatient because I wanted to know why I hadn't received a dispatch email so they clearly don't have great customer relations, along with that they also blamed their slow and awful time keeping on them having a new website, but frankly they run a business as a public service they cant make excuses to get them out of trouble like they are in an argument on a playground...

To put it bluntly I highly recommend you don't use these guys, they have no interest in being helpful, it might be a little more expensive from somewhere else but at least you can be assured you would receive your order...

Ordered from these guys with the knowledge that a fair few people who I know in airsoft, use them as well. As far as prices are concerned they can't be faulted however I placed my order and 2 days later I called up,m suprised that I had yet to receive the batteries and charger as the day before writing this review I ordered some BB's and they came the next day which is what spurred on my inquest in regards to dispatch. Phoning them up took no time at all and the person handling the call was quite helpful however much to my disappointment the order still had not been dispatched 2 days after (They had taken the money from the order out of the bank by this point) so as it currently stands I am down money with no goods. I was given the reason they they were catching up with orders which in most cases is a fair reason however I had booked a place to play at my local airsoft site as I don';t get a chance to go often and it looks like now I will be unable to skirmish as I still have no batteries. As it stands im very unimpressed with the service I have received. If the goods are recieved in excellent condition and are in fact dispatched today then I may be tempted to edit or update this review but as it currently stands they are recieving one star due to the fact that they have my money but I don't have any goods to show for it.

I simply complete a transaction through paypal on their website, purchasing a single tamiya plug adapter, for my airsoft batteries, and after awhile I received the email that it was being sent from the UK. I live in Hong Kong, which is quite far. The delivery lasted a week and arrived in prefect condition, in my apartment mailbox. The packaging was careful and used very little packaging effectively. Pulled it out of the packaging and plugged it with my battery and gun, worked great. Plugged in charger and battery, worked great. No problems what-so-ever.

The cost of the adapter was very reasonable and the shipping cost was also very reasonable. The time of shipping was not the best for such a small item, but considering how far it was and how cheap shipping was it was very acceptable.

The only thing I would criticize about this website is that layout and quality. It could be a little more well designed.

I did not have to use any kind of customer service, everything was very straight-forward. Simple payment and receiving of item.

While I was asking about a possible order they responded back within hours.

Now I have an issue (lack of goods) - they are totally silent!

Either the post has let them and I down - or, they have just scammed me!

Customer Service is absolutely disgusting.

I would suggest that yoy STAY AWAY from this shady company if you are looking to buy goods - try the better companies out there with good Customer Service.

I purchased some batteries and a charger from componetshop.co.uk and have been having a problem with the charger, component shop just ignore my e-mails regards the problem, when I e-mailed them from another e-mail address with a new purchase enquiry I got answer within 24hours just show that they are puposly ignoring my e-mails regards my faulty product. component shop quick to sell you something with fast delivery time (good part), however if you have a problem with any part or your order they will just ignore you completely (bad part). I have found a phone number supposed to be component shop if anyone needs it, how ever I have not tried it yet, 0845 1309967.

I have used these guys for all of my airsoft battery needs. They are quick, cheap and efficient. Unlike other reviewers I have not had to call or get in contact with them due to a faulty product so have no poor experience with the company due to this.

The lipo batteries are very good quality and reasonably priced which can't be said for another UK company offering the same products. The batteries on the Component Shop website sell at various airsoft retailers for up to 3 times the price you will find them on there own site.

I will contnue to use and reccomend this site as I have nothing but praise for the excellent products they have.
