Ordered an item which I paid for through Google Checkout, which I initially thought was at a bargain price. How wrong I was! I received an e-mail telling me that the item was due to be despatched on a particular day. I then received a further e-mail telling me that Google Checkout had cancelled the payment and I was asked to send the payment again within 48 hours to a bank account in the name of Businesses Wizard Ltd (now a bit suspicious and needless to say I didn't pay it). Checked with Google Checkout who e-mailed me to say that the payment was sent successfully to the seller. I tried to ring the seller but number now disconnected. Their website is also no longer active. What I thought was a bargain turned out to be a nightmare.

Ordered an electrical item from this company - never heard of them and my husband told me not to do it. After the credit card payment went through I received a message that the goods would be dispatched after the weekend. Given a delivery date in 5 days time. Order has now been cancelled by UK Buy Direct. Goods have been paid for but not received. Now waiting for this to be sorted out and hopefully receive a refund. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE. I have discovered lots of other people in the same situation. Goggle Checkout payments have been suspended. Would give them ZERO star rating if possible.

UKBuyDirect.com happily take your money through Google Checkout then send phising emails telling you Google have cancelled the order (despite having charged your account!) and that you need to transfer cash into their account - with no reference number of way of tracking the cash! They then do not respond to emails or phone calls. Avoid like the plague.

Brought a new Dyson from them for £399 to find the had reduced it the following week to £299 so asked them if they could do something and perhaps give me a refund on the price but they refused :( although they did give a £20 gift certificate, so can't complain to much, should have just waited a bit, away not their not to bad.
