Please , please do not use this company, I placed an order, and was waiting weeks for it, so in the end I rang up and left a message, ( this is what you have to do all the time, as they do not answer the phone ) to cancel my order, it was then, they took the money from my card, but never sent my order out, I was unable to get in touch with them, and had to claim my lost money back through my credit card company.

Having read all the previous reviews I can't believe this company is still in existence! I bought an item from one of their trade names (Dog Crates Direct) and....NOTHING. Have phoned, left messages, emailed them, threatened with legal action and still nothing.

How are they getting away with this!

My bank is currently investigating them under their fraud prevention scheme, and I shall be reporting them to Trading Standards.

This was/is Telescopic ladders direct and at least 2 other trading names that I'm aware of. Absolutely zero response to all communication - avoid them completely. Now reported to both Trading Standards and VISA for investigation and perhaps some tiny chance of getting my money back.

I ordered a dog crate from them and wish I had read the other reviews first. No crate, no communication or order acknowledgment, just took my money via Paypal Avoid at all costs.

This so called company is trading as Telescopic ladders direct also. I ordered a ladder expecting to be delivered within 2-3 days as stated. Over a week and no ladder. as with all the other comments voicemail and no reply to emails the only reason I even knew about this website was i paid through paypal and it shows my payment was sent to safemount.co.uk I will be talking to trading standards tomorrow I will be getting my ladder or my money either way!

I will be the first poster of 2011. I wish I had found this website before we had placed our order. Guess what.....

You still cannot contact by email, or on the phone, they still take money without sending out the items.

Total complete and utter waste of space, that is what they are, and if they are enjoying spending our money, someone somewhere will get them....if there is any justice.

Don't go near this company. Only given 1 star because site won't accept none. I ordered a bracket on 10th January. They promise next day delivery but no sign of it yet. Emails ignored and calls unanswered. I think I'll just have to write this off!

I've now bought a bracket from Duronic via Amazon. Recommend you use them instead

RETUENED THE SHELF AS WAS NOT SUITABLE, THAT WAS SIX WEEKS AGO. I AM STILL WAITING FOR MY MONEY TO BE RETURNED. CAN'T GET ANY ANSWER BY PHONE OR BY E-MAIL. THIS IS A S**T COMPANY AND I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND IT TO ANY BODY. WILL LET YOU KNOW IF I GET MY MONEY BACK THOUGH I HAVE SERIOUS DOUBTD THAT I WONT.

Got a bit worried as the "next day" delivery came and went. Tried to phone, no answer, e-mailed, no answer !! Wifey found this review web site and the picture got more gloomy by the minute. Then, it turned up (7 days after order placed). Exactly what I ordered. Just wish they'd replied to correspondence.

Oh how I wish we had seen these reviews before we purchased. We are still waiting for delivery and have had no response to emails or messages we have left on the answer machine. We have asked our credit card company to effect a chargeback and hopefully we will get our money back.

If they have been dissolved, as someone else has suggested, then who is getting the money we pay? Are liquidators robbing us to pay off the company creditors?
