Had a new garmin 1490tv delivered late 2011 only to find it was re-conditioned. Sent several emails with the occasional reply. August this year agreed to refund. Returned item will not refund. Unable to contact via email or phone.

I saw a refurb garmin 255w on mynewgps site for significantly cheaper than other sites and gave a quick call to make an enquiry about the condition of the refurb units, the gentleman i spoke with was very helpful and said that the units were in ''like new condition and had warranty direct from Garmin, I placed my order paying by card and sure enough the item was delivered the following day, I have opened and charged up the satnav and indeed its like brand new

I ordered a Garmin Nuvi 1490 @ £99.99 = £99.99 with a delivery Charge of £4.95 for Standard Delivery (UK Mainland) 2-5 Days. This was on the 11th November 2011. It is now the 5th December 2011 and although the money was taken from my account straight away; I have still not received my satnav. I have tried many times to get an update of a possible delivery date by sending many e-mails, which are never replied too. As for the contact phone number, if is a waste of time and money (as it is a mobile number) It is never answered and the voice messages are never replied too. Please learn from my experience, DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE.

I ordered a \"new refurbished with all accessories\" Garmin 3790T along with life time maps updates. I paid extra for next day delivery. Four days later I had not yet received anything so I chased up the delivery. The company apologised and promised to re-fund the difference between standard and next day delivery. A week later and without any re-fund I received a delivery. It consisted of a Garmin 3790T head unit and a mounting kit. All other accessories (power lead and traffic/TMC receiver) were missing, the head unit was scratched and distinctly used and the life time maps (£55)were not included. I contacted the company and explained that this was not what I had ordered. Again they apologised and stated that the incorrect item would be collected in two days....... it wasn't. I contacted them and they agreed to re-fund £5.90 which would be the cost to me in order to send back the incorrect item by Royal Mail. They said as soon as it was received they would send out the correct items. The item was sent back next day but I am still awaiting either a re-fund or delivery of the correct item over a week later (1 month after ordering). Throughout they never answered any phone calls but were very good a replying to e-mails.

I am now going through the process of recovering my money through my credit card company.

Update: I have received a refund to my credit card for the purchase cost. I am still awaiting the refund of £5.90 postage cost that I incurred to send back the incorrect item. This amount was agreed to be refunded prior to sending. It has now been over a month since the initial purchase! The company have stated that I will not receive this £5.90 unless I remove my reviews.

Was looking to buy a satnav with a tv and this company had the 1490tv which i read reviews on was quite good, i thought amazon were cheap at £209.99 but this company had it for under £200, ordered the satnav and they didnt disappoint, i received an email notification of completed order same day and received satnav next day.

cheapest price after searching several sites for a week, item arrived as expected, can only say good things

Very impressed with the nuvi 1310 and its simplicity, i no longer have to go through the frustration of studying map books with this gps, i only wish i brought it years ago but better late than never
