I was thinking of making system changes so contacted several potential dealers. I was attracted to Hi-Fi Lounge because of the product range and great looking location but from the start they were by far the best at engaging with a potential new customer. From first contact through to eventual install the experience was faultless. Friendly, prompt, knowledgeable communications at all times. Relaxed, no pressure listening (in fabulous shop) and sales with good part exchange policy. No hassle willingness to install despite being 3 hours travel away from me. The dealer was interested too as an enthusiast in what I was trying to achieve so I felt was invested in getting the best result. I got the impression too that whether I was spending £1000 or £100000 the approach would be the same. Based on my experience I can't rate H-Fi Lounge highly enough.

Rare to find a gem like HIFI lounge, hidden away in rural Bedfordshire, a most impressive setup full of character, style and quality. A very relaxed and seemingly never ending maze of quality HIFI, great listening rooms, friendly and knowledgeable owners, huge range of music, it’s an Aladdin’s HIFI cove. I love finding a reason to visit, and always end up planning or researching my next purchase with them. They are the class A of HIFI retail experience.

Visit for yourself - I suspect you we be in for a pleasant surprise.

I had been considering a Wi-Fi speaker for a while and was looking at the usual suspects from Sonos, Apple etc. Something called the Devialet Phantom kept cropping up. Way out of my budget but rave reviews etc, so I googled to see where I could demo one. And this is how I discovered my slice of 'Hi-Fi Heaven', hidden away not 10 miles from my home.

The Hi-Fi lounge has the most fantastic array of products across multiple rooms from speakers and turntables, full Atmos AV setups, to a demo room dedicated to headphones. I was made to feel welcome, never rushed and left to play with the 'toys' while the Phantoms were set up and then left to give both the silver and gold versions a very thorough going over!! Hi-Fi is truly something very special both in terms of the products but also the service and ambience of the place. I've never enjoyed spending £2,500 quite so much and I'll be back again soon to do it all again! Thank you.

A blissful escape from the usual mundane, run-of-the-mill, retail experience ― the proprietors have created the perfect environment, far removed from the usual hustle and bustle of life, so serious Hi-fi enthusiasts can get lost in their own musical dream as they audition some of the world’s finest Hi-fi components.

The atmosphere is never rushed or pressured; rather more, you are left sample different components at leisure for however long you wish. Yet, service remains impeccable as the staff remain close by, ready to assist you or answer any technical questions you may have regarding their wonderful array of components.

So, if you are passionate about Hi-fi and have a deep appreciation for music being played as the closest experience to a live audition, then I could not recommend Hi-Fi Lounge enough; it is an experience not to be missed or over-looked and well worth traveling the extra mile.

Regardless of outcome, you will leave feeling deeply invigorated, and should you have the good fortune to afford one of their components, with a deep sense of delight you will feel you have made the most considered, unrushed purchase, with the assurance your choice was the finest for your own individual taste and style.

Swapped my PMCS at end of December. Took my 23's to the shop in part-ex and whilst one was damaged by the courier, hi fi lounge dealt with it well, with PMC actually visiting me to replace the damaged pair.

All of my questions were dealt with very well and I never got the feeling of someone trying to push something on to me. Instead it felt like chatting to a fellow hifi enthusiast who wanted to help me to find the right system.

The demo facility was great with fantastic kit and a very relaxed atmosphere to listen in.

I can highly recommend the hifi lounge.

Travelled up to Biggleswade in Bedfordshire to the Hifi Lounge to pick up the above after the person I dealt with had kindly kept it for me for over 3 months. He required a small deposit (and it was small) this beauty cost nearly £3000 (Astell and Kern 240 Stainless Steel). When you finally arrive at the Hifi Lounge you get the most amazing feeling that this is something quite unique. High end gear of all sorts kept in a stately home or something out of a Stella Rimmington book. It felt like I was at a MI5 location.

The whole feel of the place is made all the more better by meeting the people both knew their stuff so well and the fact that they made you feel so welcome. Not pushy in any way. I and other half were invited to try all manner of gear from Hifiman to Stax and the like. Even my husband who is not in the least interested in hires music was blown away by some of the headphones that were there. Will definitely go back there.

BRILLIANT DAY OUT

I have just bought a pair of Spendor D7s from Hi-Fi Lounge. These are really fantastic speakers. If you're in the market for new speakers at this price point, I suggest they should be on your audition short-list.

I must also commend the service - friendly, knowledgeable, nothing too much trouble - highly recommended.

There was music! I don't have enough space to write the rave review that I want to, which to be fair could turn into a blog all on its own! What a fabulous shopping experience a visit to the Hi-Fi Lounge turned out to be. Having succumbed to children, a mortgage and sensibility years ago, our love of quality hi-fi systems had to take a back seat - make way for the home cinema system that had the added bonus of a CD player and sell the old hi-fi tower (yes, I'm really that old!) Fast forward some 30 years and we've given the home cinema system to charity and made way for some serious hi-fi kit. Things had moved on though, we had no clue where to begin, but after a quick chat over the phone with a wonderfully helpful and knowledgeable guy, we made our way over to the Hi-Fi Lounge. We were greeted with steaming mugs of coffee and shown to one of the barns immense rooms which he had set up with kit that he felt would suit our needs. We breathed a sigh of relief as we realised that we need look no further. The calibre of sound and blatant quality of the equipment that met our starved ears was all we had hoped for and then some. There's no pushy sales technique here; he relies solely on his quiet and capable ability to help a wet behind the ears punter (such as we were)understand the merits and capabilities of the systems that he so proudly sells. We had a simply wonderful time, learning and understanding about the kit we needed to get to put music back into our barren ears. But that's not all, he not only delivered our system to us when it was ready, but he installed it with no fuss, no mess and no spaghetti mess of wires! If we could go back again to repeat this wonderful shopping experience we would, but everything we have purchased has long guarantees and has been built with the kind of quality that will last a lifetime. Hi-Fi lounge - keep up the amazing service - a sheer quality experience from top to toe!

I stumbled upon HiFi Lounge/High End Headphones by literally typing 'Hi-Fi' into Google. They are the #1 ranked local audio business, a complete fluke find as I had literally no idea I had such an upmarket local audio dealer.

A husband and wife run business which at it's core puts the customer first; no heavy handed sales techniques; no pressure to buy, just great knowledgeable advice from both.

The location is lovely, when I first walked into High End Headphones listening room I was bowled away, leather wingbacks, wooden floors with a plush rug, three huge windows which the sun pours through as you sit and listen to music overlooking the courtyard outside. I was guided throughout the process of choosing a headphone and spent a considerable amount if time (about six hours all told) over a couple of days to make the right decision. I was made to feel very comfortable and there is plenty of tea and coffee at your disposal to help with your decision making!

I was able to take my own DAC & headphone amp with me for my second visit just to make 100% sure I'd made the right decision which was really helpful.

My next component purchase is likely to be a power amp and I'll certainly be giving HiFi Lounge a call when that time arrives.
