I wanted a local company to do a home cinema conversion and thought Harrogate Home Cinema would fit the bill. I took a day off work to meet two of the installation team, we discussed the conversion and a promise of an estimate to follow including design sketches.

Almost 4 months has passed and nothing not even a phone call. Recently, I visited the store a second time (an earlier visit and no staff member was present upstairs) and asked if the estimate was ready but apparently, there was no record of the initial visit or estimate.

I asked to see the demo room as we were there and was told the projector was not working.

I left my telephone number - this was almost two weeks ago and still nothing.

Maybe I expected too much and 4 months is the norm for a quotation or could it be a sub £20k installation is not worth their time and effort.

Very disappointed indeed.
