I bought 5 laser KES410 from Gentech Distribution and all 5

didn't work !!!!!

Now there is no one answering my emails anymore !

I can't log in to webshop no more !

I ordered a kes 400AAA blu ray drive for a 60gb ps3 from Gentech Distribution.

Unfortunately I have to disagree with the other reviews.

Pros: I cannot fault the delivery which was quick and I was kept well informed via emails of my proposed delivery. The item was as described and ordering online was simple and quick.

Cons: firstly the website provided very little information regarding the item itself and it was only because of prior research I'd done online that I knew it was the correct part. A little information or description would have been greatly beneficial. When I received the drive it was filthy, there was hair wrapped around the mechanism, greasy and unidentifiable bits and the housing was badly scratched with poorly glued parts, location tabs missing and amateurish repair work. I ordered the entire housing and laser unit to make life easier but it was so filthy and battered I ended up removing the internals, cleaning it and replacing it in mine. It was obvious there had been little care in the repair and it seemed to have been carried out in somewhere very dirty. Considering these are delicate parts I was unhappy about the poor state of the unit and will not be ordering again. If it wasn't for the hassle I'd return it but I also noticed on arrival of the item that gentechs 'tamper seals' were already broken so feel they would've refused my return on these grounds.

Overall: Poor quality, not good value for money after all the shipping and delivery charges are added. if you want decent items I would search elsewhere,

Have now used these for my last fwe orders and they are very good at what they do,Quality and price are out-standing would recommend to anybody looking for all there console repairs.
