Had a problem with one pan handle not fitting either pan properly so telephoned to ask for a replacement to be sent with my new order for an additional pan on return of the faulty handle. Received an e-mail advising disposal of offending handle. This saved a trip to the post office and postal charges and reassured me that a) they believed me and b) it wouldn't be fobbed off onto someone else. The lady I spoke to was extremely pleasant and very reassuring.

The range of cookware is superb and details very informative. Ordering and returning goods from France can be an expensive business so I need to get it right first time and the information given ensured this was so. I shall recommend Salamander with confidence - thank you.

We were looking for Le Pentole Stainless Steel cookware because my parents in law bought it in Italy 35 years ago and still use it everyday. In Germany or Italy we could not find a store offering these items at reasonable price and shipping condidtions.... We could only find WMF & similar things we didn't like at all.... But then we found Salamander Cookshop! Order assistance and shipping was great. From now for the next 35 years we are happy to use the most elegant and convenient cookware I can imagine.
