Unless you've tested "when something is broken within warranty service" - like I have, you can't appreciate how good or bad the service actually is. The service is BAD. A 6 month old mid price amp(pioneer) ceases to work and what has my experience to date been. Missed eta's, false information, zero proactivity and a service manager who refuses to engage. My recommendation - super fi or richer sounds as Mr Peter Tyson has much to consider. My lesson learned but will they....?

ordered a new fridge for £1500!!! and they tell me, it's a pallet delivery. meaning they will drop it off on the driveway and that's it. so i must admire it from the driveway.

guy asked me if i had friends who could help me move it? what on earth is this nonsense. you buy it and they won't drop it off in the house?

i complained saying your website doesn't state it's pallet. chap tries to tell me it's on the website.

Larger Appliances (Washing Machines, Dishwashers, Fridge Freezers etc) as standard we use Network4, 2 Man Delivery Service. Deliveries are normally 5-10 Days, dependant on your location - subject to stock availability.

so where is the 2 man delivery service??? lot of nonsense. awful company who don't care about their customers, present and future.

Have used this company quite a few times they always have excellent prices and delivery is also very good would recommend you always check them out for all appliances

I bought a dishwasher from them based on the price which was competitive and the positive reviews of their service that I had read. After placing the order online I was informed that they didn't have stock and asked if I wanted to proceed - offering me the chance to cancel. I stayed with it and they had my item in stock within a few days. Then they called to arrange delivery for next day and I took a days holiday to receive it. Only after they had dispatched it did they take payment. However, the 'next-day' delivery isn't guaranteed and so after taking the day off and waiting in all day I discovered from the parcel tracking system that they wouldn't be delivering that day. This is in the Ts&Cs so make sure you're happy with that. I couldn't take another day off so I called them the next morning and they told me they'd arrange a Saturday delivery which I was happy with. Then the delivery turned up on Friday afternoon when, by luck, someone was in. I think if you're expecting customers to take days off to receive the goods it should be a guaranteed service. Maybe that would bump up the price but to be honest I would have paid more for a guaranteed slot. Too many companies keep customers in the dark about how deliveries are effected until after the point of sale. More info, more choice upfront would be an improvement.

So, not perfect on the logistics but overall I think Peter Tyson Appliances is a decent company and I would use them again and recommend them.

When I had a problem with my hifi from peter tysons, I informed them by e-mail as it was a Sunday , they contacted me on the Monday . The collection was quick , the issue resolved, the customer services were excellent.

Cannot fault them in any way. Would certainly recommend using this company to anyone.

The price of their products was unbeatable by any other electrical store or online shop. I found the customer service to be of first class quality, any questions or queries I had were handled efficiently and promptly. Having bought a product from these guys on ebay and being extremely impressed by their speedy delivery to the Highlands I thought I would try them again. Great telephone advice and again great cost effective and fast service to me. I will buy again for sure, I am really impressed and in these days of poor service can only recommend.

Bought our Miele 8000 series vac online from Peter Tyson at £25 less than the nearest competitor (the Coop)-a brilliant price considering that the delivery charge was included.

Couldn't believe it when I received a text message 2 hours later offering next day delivery in a 1 hour agreed time slot.

The delivery was duly made at the time promised by a very courteous driver.
