Beware: It may be cheap for a reason.

I ordered a coffee machine solenoid valve (it was much cheaper than most other suppliers.).

The valve was faulty but being an engineer I dismantled it to see why!

The internal valve port was 10 times larger than the original part and the valve return spring was incorrect; too short and to soft. The result all of the water which should have entered the coffee cup leaked past the valve into the overflow!

Kenco insist that the valve was supplied by De'Longhi. Seems unlikely! I will be contacting them to seek their opinion.

Wish i had read reviews before parting with 350 for an item that should have arrived in 48 hours 6 days later still waiting and geting the runaround do not use this company

I have never heard of this company before, but the price was good and I had no reason not to use them. The free 48 hour delivery seemed like an added bonus when spending nearly £100. The delivery is now 2 days late, the customer services advisor has told me on their tracking details it has been loaded and unloaded 3 times from the van because the driver didn't have enough time to deliver. I have wasted an entire day sat by the door waiting as was told delivery would be today and nothing has arrived! I then saw these reviews and realised this is a common trait with Kenco Spares and asked for a refund. I was told I could not be refunded as it's "out for delivery" but obviously isn't getting delivered. Doesn't make any sense whatsoever. Apparently I can be refunded tomorrow if I don't receive it in the next 5 minutes, leaving me 2 days before Christmas to try and find this gift. This has been such an inconvenience and atrocious service. To be told it would come today, when already late and then not arrive and not be allowed a refund. Absolutely joke. IGNORE ALL OTHER REVIEWS, KENCO SPARES IS NOT A CREDITABLE COMPANY AND YOU SHOULD NOT RUN THE RISK OF USING THEM!!!!!

Order item for a great price compared to majority of retailers. Company did fail to reply to a number of emails asking for a delivery date, but one phone call and they supplied me with the tracking number and chased the courier for me. Item then arrived within 24 hours. Great.

I almost didn't order from this company after reading the reviews here. I am so glad I did. I got exactly what I wanted for a good price with free 48 hour, signed for, delivery. £20 cheaper by ordering directly rather than via the South American river company... You can't ask better than that. Very efficient, courteous communication. All in all amazing service. I cannot understand the negativity. I will definitely use this company again and believe that if I have any problems in future they will be delt with in an equally professional manner.

No goods delivered. Don't go near them. Trading Standards need to take action in Northern Ireland.

I ordered a washing machine part & I was told it will be there within 3 working days. It is now seven days later and no part has arrived. The manager is an ignorant man & he has an appalling attitude regarding customer service. My advice to everyone is to stay away from this company, they take your money & they do not give a damn about your order. There are better suppliers out there, Kenco are not cheap. Avoid this business. Look at all the bad reviews. Stay away.

I ordered a battery charger for my dyson hand vacuum was told order was on way and given a delivery date nothing came they said they reorder and after more than a week second order has. Not arrived. Has to go back to amazon to make claim

For my money back

I ordered an item through Kenco Spares back in May which was £50 cheaper than any other e-tailer. I received an "order complete" e-mail soon after purchase but never received any goods. E-mails have gone unanswered and I am still without the product ordered or a refund of my money.

I have not received the item, though the order status is completed.

I've called in the very end of January and I was told that my order will be canceled and the payment will be refunded since the item was out of stock.

At the beginning of June I've checked my paypal account, no money was refunded. So I've contacted the company this time via e-mail.

I got such a response: "

Apologies there are notes to the effect of this on your account, I will ensure that the item was not dispatched, if I can find this out I will process your refund immediately.

"

My lately e-mails are ignored and still haven't received money.
