Recent dealings with B&Q have been a nightmare... Been in the Corton Wood store to find that they were less than useful not able to answer any generic questions I had over an oven. As a first time buyer I ideally needed them answering before buying so had to leave without the oven.

Went back in to another branch today to order a different oven after trawling the internet to answer the questions myself to find out that they don't stock the oven I wanted. They also couldn't order it for me (no internet as just moved in) and I couldn't have it delivered to store it has to be to the house so I can sit and wait in for it all day.

My B and Q gloss slab cream kitchen looks lovely , the service was good but the delivery a bit chaotic with the driver unwilling to carry the goods from the pallet outside the back door 10 foot into the bungalow, and as for my fitter JCM (John Makins) Joinery of Mansfield , we won't mention the worktop that swelled and had to be replaced because he didn't put enough sealant in the joint, or the leaking waste that ruined our carpet, or the four letter text message he sent or the threat of court action letters we had to email to get things put right , he fixed the worktop but couldn't give a monkeys about the leaking waste that leaked for weeks until we found our carpet was mouldy, we didn't get the fitter through B and Q so not their fault.

Can only comment on ordering process at this point as unit has yet to be

delivered. Tried to order by phone initially but discovered fault with my

telephone halfway thru placing the order. Young lady was extremely

polite and helpfully. Placed order on-line in the end, which was not a

problem. If the delivery is as painless as placing the order was - will be

satisfied...

I BOUGHT MY KITCHEN FEB 2012 I HAVE HAD TO REPLACE FRIDGE FREEZER AFTER 6 MONTHS AFTER THEY TRIED TO REPAIR IT 4 TIMES THEN WASHER DOOR BROKE EXPLAINED ON PHONE WHAT IT WAS SENT SOMEONE OUT WITHOUT THE PART TO TELL ME WHAT I NEEDED AND WOULD NEED TO BOOK ANOTHER DAY OFF WORK THEN WASHER BROKE AGAIN GOT IT FIXED AND 3RD TIME OF IT BREAKING I BOUGHT A NEW ONE EVEN THOUGH STILL UNDER WARRANTY THEN 3 MONTHS AGO COOKER BREAKS AFTER ADVICE FROM ENGINEERS I AM NOW IN THE PROCESS OF REPLACING MY COOKER ..DONT BUY APPLIANCES FROM B AND Q ALSO ALL MY DOOR HANDLES ON CUPBOARDS HAVE ALL PEELED

B & Q appliance website is now always my first stop when I require a new appliance. They have a good range of products available that reflect a wide price bracket, so there is something for everyone. I have now ordered a fridge, a freezer, a cooker and a dishwasher all of which I have been very pleased with. Each time I have been extremely impressed with the communication from the company and delivery drivers, the delivery men were also very considerate and efficient. I also really like the fact that you get to select your own deliver date (a service which many other companies do not offer) and that if you really want you can have your appliance the next day for a reasonable charge. I have already recommended this service to many friends and will continue to do so. Well done B & Q!

I can only review the website as the product has not been delivered yet, but I liked the choice of products, the price and the choice of next day, two day or weekend delivery. Weekend delivery even included Sunday, which I don't need but is great to have as an option.

My only problem was one which will not affect many people. My bank card is registered outside of the UK and so was difficult to use as it rejected my postcode as incorrect. It would be nice if there was a choice to enter the address manually. As I say though, I am being fussy because very few people will have the same problem.

Having had an unsuccessful shopping trip in town, I ordered a cooker and cooker hood at 9pm online on Saturday night paying extra for the express delivery to ensure the goods were here for the electrician coming on Monday morning. Received a phone call at 7am Sunday morning advising the goods would be here within 2 hours. They arrived at 8.50am.

Brilliant service, well worth the extra for express delivery.

Just ordered Bosch tumble dryer which wasn't available at first choice store. Slightly more expensive, but available and able to arrange delivery on date I wanted. Didn't get option to unpack and install, hopefully they'll do that or I can add it somewhere as it's going to be too heavy for me to move myself.

Will update when delivered etc.

Ordered freestanding freezer at 8.30pm on a sunday, it was delivered and installed by 5pm the next day. freezer was by far the best price available.

other reviews need to realize that this company is not B&Q!! they are a different company trading as B&Q appliances under license from Kingfisher Group, so staff discounts (like my own) do not work.

that said the company fulfilled the order and exceeded expectations.

would happily use again.

After previously being let down by AEG on a grand scale I contacted B & Q Appliances and at 2030 ordered an integrated fridge freezer over the phone. At 0700 the next day the delivery driver rang to confirm that he would arrive in the next 20 minutes. I also had a text message and a call from the delivery centre to confirm.

Excellent service and helpful friendly staff. In this day and age it is hard to find service like this.
