Absolutely Terrible

I ordered a washing machine around the 28 th March and after three promised delivery dates I gavemup and asked for a refund which I only received yesterday, 19th April. Young lady on phone very polite but company seems to lack communication with delivery service and each other and most certainly the customer. They never phoned back and I had to keep phoning them to Se what was happening. Even for the refun, it kept being left and I had to phone several times to say the money was not there.

I ,was getting very frustrated as I waited in three days for this machine and only the first time did they phone to apologise as they couldn't deliver.i would never use this company again in a pink fit.

Rubbish Do Not Trust

I shall never ever use this company again. I ordered a fridge from them in January, it didn't arrive on time and I complained and I got my money back after a couple of weeks of trying. For some silly reason I ordered the same fridge again from them (didn't even think back to Jan when I had the same problem as I have bought so much in the last 6 months I didn't even think) at the end of April as they said it was in stock for next day delivery. I booked a delivery for 5 days later and it didn't arrive. I called up and they said delivery had been cancelled as they didn't have stock. No one had bothered to tell me that which meant a whole day wasted that I couldn't go out with the kids. I explained I only ordered from them as they said they had stock. They apologised and I said I wanted too cancel but they asked me to wait one day and they would get it sorted. Again silly me agreed thinking they will now send the fridge out to me and the guy promised I would be contacted the next day. 3 days went by and nothing so I called again and they promised to refund me. Still nothing. I have just come off the phone to them yet again and it looks like the refund has now gone through - well I hope so anyway. I have not had one bit of communication from them at all and its disgraceful that they can be allowed to operate. Ok there may be some happy customers out there but I feel totally let down by them and will never recommend them to anyone. Even when I said this to the guy tonight he didn't care.

If I could give a minus rating I would. I don't give reviews normally even bad ones as I always think there must be a genuine reason but not this time they are an appaling company - DO NOT USE.

Very Happy With Service

Placed an order for a cooker over the phone and requested a delivery on Saturday.

On Saturday I received a call from the driver letting me know he was on his way over.

The driver wheeled the cooker into my kitchen and unpacked it ask requested.

The cooker looks lovley and the sevice was perfect.

Totally Unreliable

Website said delivery available next and following day. Booked at 10 am for next day and telephoned an hour later to be assured all ok. Advised to ring after 3pm to get idea of delivery time. Rang at 3.30 to be told initially no record of order, then told it was a mistake as not available....van had already left. They could deliver in 7 days! Hopeless and dishonest. Do not touch.

After ordering an appliance on the Saturday for delivery on the Monday I had waited in until 15:00 on the Monday waiting for a phonecall or indeed for the delivery people to arrive. Seeing as they had not arrived yet I decided to give them a call and after 5 minutes of "your call is important to us" they answered and after giving my details advised me the delivery was not due out today as the appliance was not in stock!!

Surely internet shopping enables stock management levels so why sell something you do not have in stock?!?!

Let alone not calling the customer to advise they had none in stock in the morning, instead waited around most of the day for a delivery that would never materialise.

Would not recommend buying from these and will stick to electrical123.com from now on. Worth the extra couple of quid, at least they give you ETA's and only sell what they have in stock!

Promises, But No Delivery!

I ordered a Belling cooker 1 month before my new kitchen was due to be installed. the company promised that they could deliver in 8 to 10 days but I asked them to deliver in 3 weeks time. The day before the delivery was due I telephoned to find out if they had a time slot for me. To my surprise they said that there was no delivery due to me on that day. After discussion, it was agreed that the delivery would be the next week. This time I telephoned 2 days before the due date. Again, after being passed from one person to another, I eventaully got an admission that the cooker could not be delivered that week. Neither could they guarantee delivery the next week! Anyway, 4 weeks after the initial order, I decided to cancel.

I tried another online retailer who delivered within 2 days!

I would not shop with them again.

I orederd a Candy washing machine and was contacted and advised it would be delivered soon. I then received an email stating they had run out of delivery vans. A few days later I contacted them again and was told it would be delivered in a week the delay this time was lack of drivers. A week later I rang and was told that they did not have it in stock and would not be able to deliver it until they had it and that would not be for at least two weeks. I confirmed cancellation by phone and on website and 5 weeks after that they have not even had the decency to contact me despite several emauils and telephone calls. Totally unprofessional and disrespectful and gives me the impression that perhaps they have finance problems. Another firm for liquidation?

You Will Lose All Your Money To This Company!!!

Don't have a better words to describe shopping experience with Ultimate Appliances--- it was awful!!!!

I ordered Indesit KP9F11SKG Dual Fuel Range Cooker back in 18/01/13, - had called them before the order to confirm I could get it delivered in 7-days, as indicated on the website. Payment was taken quickly -- the next day.

The product never arrived, after ***a month***(19/02/12), I had to cancel the order. (Obviously, I called them during this month, and was lied to one after another: "Oh, sorry getting stock" "Oh sorry had wrong product", "Oh sorry, promise get to you by next day".... You can imagine the excuses)

Now, you may think, this is just one those companies who cannot get the product they offer, which you know, it happens.

But read below and ***THINK AGAIN***

Now is 26/03/13. I still don't have the refund!!!

You can forget about going through their supporting ticket, because you will not get response.

Calling them is real pain, you will have to wait 15-30mins get answered for support(option 2). (If you select Option 1 - sales), you get to the same support person but in 2 minutes.

So after went through this telephone conversation every day, and again, I get false promise as they usually do, I still waiting....

Give a tiny bit credit to some of their support staff, although they lied(they claim is not their problem but told by the management), some are good talk to. Unfortunately for them, employed by a concompany.

Had a bit research to the company, since the situation. (I know its too late)

Very Slow, Not Very Good Customer Service

It took them nearly 3 weeks to deliver appliances, but they charged my credit card immediately. The website lets you choose a delivery date based on your postcode, but unlike other companies appliances.co.uk do not actually deliver on the date you choose! I rang them up after the delivery had not turned up. Not that getting through to them is easy, they often hang up or you can't get through despite ringing during the hours stated in their email.

When I said I had chosen a delivery date when I'd ordered but the delivery hadn't turned up, they said of course it doesn't work like that! Also, they needed a transaction code from my credit card company, hadn't I received an email telling me this. I hadn't. Two lengthy phonecalls later they informed me that it wasn't the transaction code they needed, but the authorisation code!!

When I'd finally provided them with the correct code they promised to call me back with a delivery date. Of course they didn't. I had to call them again (this was 3 days after my chosen delivery date!).

Eventually and many phonecalls later I was finally given a delivery date. They didn't have any of the items in stock which had not been stated on their website when I had ordered.

Instead of having the goods delivered directly to me as other companies do, they get them from the manufacturer and then send goods to the customer. This takes ages! I had ordered another appliance from the same manufacturer through a different website, and it arrived within 3 days on my chosen delivery date. Why can't appliances.co.uk offer the same?

The promised delivery date was delayed by another two days... (for a change they did ring me, before I had to chase them up).

The only positive thing is the low prices, and that at least the goods did finally arrive, but I should have paid a little more.

Fast Delivery Very Happy

I ordered a new washing machine i needed it urgently as im a new mum. Appliances.co.uk managed to delivery it in 2 days and at the lowest price I could find. Would recommend.
