I would use them, call their contact centre first to enquire the goods are in stock. You can place an order over the phone. Very polite and efficient members of staff!!

I Ordered A Dyson Vacuum Cleaner From 24-7 Electri

I ordered a Dyson vacuum cleaner from 24-7 Electrical using my VISA card, three days later I see the website indicates they have no stock and are not expecting a delivery of stock within the next 10 days, the order status was still in the 'processing' state it had since I placed the order, so I use their website form to request a cancellation or the order. Less than 30 minutes later I receive a call from 247electrical.co.uk telling me they have charged the goods to my card as they have 'just given the goods to the courier' for delivery and were planning on telling me by email later today that the goods were ready for dispatch. I told them that I still wished to cancel the order as no indication had been made to me by that point that the goods had been dispatched, but I was told they'd already charged me and that I'd have to wait 'a very long time' for a refund.

I find this completely unacceptable and faxed a formal letter quoting the 'Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000' requesting cancellation of the order. I shall also send a copy to their offices via recorded delivery as this kind of practice gives me no sense of trust in them at all.

Do Not Buy From This Company I Advice You! They De

Do not buy from this company I advice you! They delivered the wrong appliance to me, and I rejected it. They since have kept my money and won't refund me and will not tell me if/when I am getting a replacement! They so far have been unhelpful. This has now been going on for well over a month and still no idea on what is happening - they have £250 of my money and I have nothing to show for it. I have asked my credit card company to deal with it on my behalf as I struggle to get help from 24-7 Electricals.

I Brought My Cooker From 247 Electrical On The 30t

I brought my cooker from 247 Electrical on the 30th of May 2008 and i still don't have it to this day. They have my money and when i tried to call them they don't open their phone lines until later in the day and they also after countless emails to them do not respond to them. When i did manage to get through to a human to talk to i found the customer service agent very off putting indeed. When i ordered i got an automated email to tell me that the item i had purchased (cooker) require a specialized 2 man lifting company to get it to me, they also told me in that email that that 2 man lifting company (HI WAY EXPRESS) would contact me. They didn't. So i got back onto the phone with 247 electrical and asked where my cooker was after spending more than £250. The agents respond was "You as the customer are supposed to contact the courier (HI WAY EXPRESS) to arrange delivery of the item" i then pointed out that this is not what i was told in the email sent to me.Now when i 1st was shopping about for a good deal online i picked up 247 electrical paid their website a visit and they had award winning images all over it, witch i thought was good. But it turned out to be a very different relationship indeed. One stop that i visited once and will never shop with again. Maybe it was my fault for not doing my homework first. But it sure has thought me a lesson or two and that is not to believe what i see so much.I think anyone thinking of buying anything from them should think think and think again!

I've Ordered A Samsung Lcd Tv From 24-7 And After

I've ordered a Samsung LCD TV from 24-7 and after one week they postponed the shipping. After other five days they postponed again. I called and they said they didn't have the TV in stock, although they confirmed they had it before. I cancelled the order but they said that they did have the TV and it was waiting to be shipped so they were not able to cancel anymore. I called the delivery company and they said they didn't have the TV. I called my card issuer and ordered to stop the payment and cancelled the order writing a formal email to 24-7.

Unfortunately, I'm still waiting for my money.

This Retailer Has Been An Absolute Waste Of Time.

This retailer has been an absolute waste of time. They did not know what they had in stock. I ordered a TV it was a 3-5 day delivery when they actually found my details a week later the TV was out of stock and would have been delivered a total of six weeks after the original order and would have been £40 cheaper if ordered when back in stock and they ignored this when I pointed it out? Needless to say I cancelled the order and fingers crossed they refund all my money. The name 247 is not what it suggests as they are only open 10 am until 4pm Mon to Fri. I would not recommend as for me they are a big disappointment.

Plenty Of Bad Points To Mention, Waiting Since The

Plenty of bad points to mention, waiting since the 12.02.08 for my hoover and i just been told that it has been delayed again. You are better off paying a bit more. At lease you will get your item. There are no good points.

I Ordered A Hostess Trolley On The 17th December,

I ordered a hostess trolley on the 17th December, the item was shipped some three days later. Then on the 21st December I received a call from the courier that they wanted to deliver on the 2nd January! I was furious and cancelled the order, since then I have tried to find out when my refund would be given. They said that they had to wait for the trolley to be returned by the courier company. I received an email on the 16th January, saying that it was classed as an unwanted/refused delivery and would charge me £29.99 delivery charge. I ordered this because I was hosting a dinner party on New years eve. and as the delivery is supposed to be 5-10 days I thought that it should have been delivered in time. I feel very angry and would not recommend 247 electrical to anyone.

Initial Order Of A Hotpoint Fridge Came On Time Bu

Initial order of a Hotpoint fridge came on time but was damaged. Waited more than 8 weeks for a replacement, but despite repeated assurances that it was on it's way, we never recieved it. Got fed up with waiting, so got a refund. This company is very difficult to communicate with! I would never use them again!!!!
