On January 27th Of 2015, United Discounts Promised
On January 27th of 2015, United Discounts promised that they were going to give us inquires for the weeks that we were renting our time share. They told us to pay $3,000.00 and in return we were going to receive a check for the amount of 12 weeks. The lady that spoke with us was nice, we even told her that it was too good to be true, that maybe it was a scam and she said no, why would we lie, this is for our troops that fight for our country. She sent us an email with a video that had military family. I was so naive to believe in them. Today is December 3rd and I have only received 1 inquiry and no check. Now I need the money and can't get a hold of them. I just want a complete refund. Don't let these people fool you.
Fraudulent! Takes Advantage Of The Elderly!
There was supposed to be a money back guarantee. There was no place to find the guarantee terms on the website and or mailed to us.
We finally received them after we asked for our money back. They would not return our or another family members money.

Complaint Description: Used False Promises Regar
Complaint Description:
Used false promises regarding sale of my timeshare weeks with RCI. In October of 2013, we were contacted by United in Uniform who asked us to participate in a veterans' outreach program. After about a half hour discussion, which included a tutorial on a "website", we agreed and allowed them to charge $795 on our credit card. This fee was supposed to be a one time fee. They promised us to rent out 5 of our RCI bonus weeks for a minimum of $5,000. We did receive an entire packet of information which included a variety of discount card benefits. Months went by with no word so I called them and emailed them to no avail. Today, 5-23-14, they called and said that he was calling on behalf of United in Uniform but identified that he was calling from the legal office entitled Exchange Hold. He noted that they sold our 5 weeks for $15,000 and that I would be receiving the following items in the mail: 1. a certified cashier's check in the amount of $15,000. 2. a Bill of Rental. 3. a Conveyance Package. 4. a Tax Exemption Page. But first I had to wire $3,852.17 to their SunTrust Bank account to which he provided me with the account number and routing number. I told him that I do not have $3,852.17 and that if he'd send me the $15,000 check, I'd be more than happy to the pay the sales tax amount. He said that they do not operate that way and did I not want to sell my 5 weeks to them? I said sure I do but I shouldn't have to pay YOU to give me any money. His name was Blake Green and his phone number is (407)267-9454 if you'd care to contact him. The Exchange Hold address he gave me is: 712 Sprinkle Drive, Jacksonville, FL, 32211. I then hung up the phone because I told him that I needed to contact my bank to inquire about how I should do this wire transfer (of which I had no intention of doing). So upon further internet research, I discovered that this dubious company had many complaints filed against them. And I also found the supposed FoxNews video that he used to substantiate his claim that they are legit. The woman, Lourdes Rosario, that they interviewed as being a veteran's wife, is also listed on the company's list of employees. That should be a big red light to anyone out there who is contemplating going through with this crap!!! In any event, these people need to be stopped. How many innocent people have been suckered out of hard-earned money? I mean I may be stupid, but I'm not a complete idiot! Please stop these people!

A Poor Organization For Vacation Rentals. Avoid Them.
I'm three years into a five year listing for my vacation rental. I have received zero bookings, and for the last two years have not had a single inquiry. They never communicate with me with a newsletter, email, or any other means. They don't seem to put any effort into getting legitimate inquiries for my listing. I've contacted them to get a refund, and they offered to do some special marketing for my listing. Still no inquiries. I assume my money is gone and this is a lesson learned. If you have a vacation rental, do not use United in Uniform or believe any of their promises. In my experience, you will only be throwing your money away.
Too Bad
They only way UIU obtains any positive comments is throurgh their own employees. This company is decietful preying on an individuals want to help the military obtain low cost vacations. They should be shutdown.

Now A Company Called Pec Property Services Calls Y
Now a company Called PEC property Services calls you saying they are with United in Uniform and that your Get Away weeks you paid to have listed have an offer on them. They need the resort fees wired to them. Once you do, then taxes need to be paid on the money now before you will receive the check and a certificate stating you paid them to follow. Once you have invested this, then they hit you with one last fee. So do you lose all the money now invested or see it through. Take your loses and run!!!! United in Uniform says they have never heard of them but PEC knew all about our contract with United. Not all of this is public knowledge. We have filed complaints with the BBB in Florida for United and North Carolina for PEC, as well as complaints to the Attorney General in both states. Companies like this should not be allowed to operate especially under the status that they are helping our military families.
I'm Hoping To Reach Anyone Thinking Of Giving Mone
I'm hoping to reach anyone thinking of giving money to this organization. They are not legit, they took $750.00 from me to rent my timeshare. It's been almost a year and I have yet to receive payment for a rental. They promised a rental within 30 days or I would get a refund. All they tell me is that there are inquiries pending. I am in the processed of filing a complaint with FCC and the Attorney General of Michigan. DO NOT BELIEVE THEIR LIES!!!!!

United In Uniform Review
UIU sold me 3 rental property listings for $2,000 on a fraudulent website. They gave me a membership card that isn't recognized anywhere, not even at IHop or any other supposed participating agency. I have never even received so much as one call from anyone wanting to rent my home. They are terrible and I will find a way to take legal action against them. I hope you will also do the same!
They Took My Money Too And Refuse To Give It Ba
They took my money too and refuse to give it back. Report them to the Florida States Att General. Discount cards don't work. I live next to a large military base - and they have never heard of them. Spoke with the housing manager at Chery point marine base - never heard of them - the pharmacist across the street from base never heard of them! Have not even received an inquiry on my rental. They are bogus and liars! Now gathering info through VRBO and others that have been victimized if I get enough people together we will file for class action lawsuit.

Maybe It Good For Consumer Because Use Their Card
Maybe it good for consumer because use their card might have discount. Of course, business is still making money even there is a discount for customer.
BAD if you paid money to them. They promised for refund after one year if no booking for vacation rental and they do not honor it. Only withing the first a few months, there were a few queried for last minute (for hot season). Hardly to have 2nd conversation for booking. They claimed in the web site said we need report each month and updated our calendar every moth to qualify for refund. I double if I do it they will honor the refund because I has asked my 2nd year fee refund they never response to me. If they are hones business, they should refund my 2nd year fee which I never used (I paid 2 years fee)
DO NOT JOIN the club.
