A 7 Inch Android Touch Screen Tablet From Vivacity Stores

I bought A 7 inch Android touch screen Tablet PC with camera and 4GB storage from Vivacity Stores (was £299)now £69.99. I had the same problems as most reviews I have read by taking ages for this to arrive and having to chase it up with wowcher,In hindsight I wish it had never arrived and I'd had my money back through wowcher, it would have saved me all my time with emails etc.I feel I was mis sold this item and is not worth £69.99 never mind £299.99, I would charge the battery switch it off then go back to use it the next day, there would be no charge left in it. wowcher advised me to return this to Vivacity Stores recorded delivery which I did 22/03/2013, Wowcher had said once this had been done they would happily refund me, I sent an email to wowcher with the tracking number I then received an email back to say they had tracked the number and could see it had now been returned back to sender and that I should now send it to them recorded delivery so they could check to see if there was a problem with this item. I sent an email back asking why had they asked me to send this to a company that no longer existed? I had mentioned this to them in the 1st place and they would know this theirselves!! and all I had done was waste my time and money, I think they tried to wear me down I am now happy to say that this morning I received this email from wowcher, I hope this helps someone else with the same problem

As long as you have attempted to return the item back to the merchant, then you cannot be held responsible if they are no longer in operation or unable to accept deliveries.

As you have provided the tracking code for your proof of postage, which I have checked, I have now issued a refund.

Do They Exist Any Longer

I bought an Avatar Watch mobile that was supposed to be open to any network and turns out it cant get the UK's most popular provider O2. Tried to complain and request a refund and their Website is constantly down and their customer service number is not in service. Tried Wowcher who I got the so called deal and they keep referring me back to Viva City Stores. I am absolutely furious as this was a christmas present for my 11 year old son and I'm getting nowhere to having this resolved. If there was a Zero star I would give it that.XXXXXXXXXXX DONT EVER DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR GOODS FIT FOR THEIR PURPOSE XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.

I just wished that this company could have been totally honest with me at the time of purchase about it not being totally open to all networks. I'm now faced with a watch mobile deemed useless that I cant have refunded as I cant get in contact with them

Rubbish Company Do Not Use Them!

ordered a smart watch in august,turned up about a month later,did not charge,so returned as they advised,tracked post etc,the kept answering e-mails,saying in hand etc,until 45 days paypal,resolutiom dispute time ran out,then stopped answering emails,all phone lines are not connected,so cannot speak to them,eventualy went back to kbg deals,they had set up the deal,they tried but got nowhere with vivacity,but paid back my cost to them,advising postages paid will have to be refunded,via vivacity,after over 40 emails,they have stopped responding,so i will set up a small claim against one of their directors,genivive prince-odemena,if anyone requires it,director number 917263211.

If you do use them do so at your peril,you have been warned!appears kbg deals are not using them at this time,i hope that stays the case.

Keep Away From Vivacity Stores - 10 Inch Pink Android Tablet

I bought the same product on wowcher for my little girl for Christmas. After purchasing it on 24 September it eventually arrived on 30 November thereabout. Meanwhile there was no contact or even an email to acknowledge.

I had a nagging thought that i should switch it on just in case, oh dear it got worse! It turned on once and even after a full charge or what i assumed to be a full charge it still didn't switch on. Phoned wowcher as i kept getting a message that vivacity stores website was down and would be up and running in 2 hours (still saying the same message today). Wowcher advised me to return the laptop - which I have since done. I still haven't got my refund. Would never advise anyone to buy it.

10" Pink Android Laptop Disgrace

After all the hassle involved in trying to get this (same as per other comments on here) we eventually received one, and oh boy, does it disappoint!!!

It does come from China. And it's poor, poor, poor! We got the pink one as a gift, but it's laughable. My daughter had a "Barbie" electronic typewriter which had a better keyboard and plastics, than this load of guff. Also it's not as described on Wowcher's website, the specification is different, i.e 2gb ROM and 2gb RAM does not equal 4gb storage!! Not a proper 10.1" screen either.

Talking about screens, it's a total fiddle to use, much more suited to a touchscreen. The touchpad feels cheap and the buttons feel worse. Reckon it should last about a month of light usage. And like other reviews I have seen, the charging socket does not line up with the plastics. It's not far out, but you still need to insert the charger at an angle, which will put undue pressure on the socket. I reckon this will last as long as the mouse keys!

Also, no declaration of conformity, only box is marked FCC, and CE (which I suspect may be the "China Export" logo as opposed to the proper CE one). I would doubt very much that this has gone through any sort of compliance testing. No WEEE markings either. I may be wrong but isn't this mark mandatory on new products? Waste of money and an embarrassment for wowcher. Never EVER again!!!

Satnav

I bought a Satnav via KGB over 6 weeks ago and to date have not received it, no reply from my numerous emails,. KGB are'nt any better when I have reported this to them. I think this company needs to be reported or get Watchdog on to them, I think I will do this

SNAP I have bought a satnav via KGB for Vivacity stores, and like you have sent numerous emails to both KGB and Vivacity. I am so frustrated KGB told me on 26th Oct that mine had been dispatched and would be with me at the end of last week. Surprise surprise it hasnt arrived. I have just sent them an email saying that I want all my money back, so watch this space!!

Rip Off Merchants - Avoid!!

In September I bought a Wowcher for a Android Tablet from this so-called 'store'. It did eventually arrive, after much attempted chasing. It looked like something you would see in Poundland! I immediately sent it back (costing me another £7.55) under Vivacity's Return's Policy and although this item was signed for at their end, I have as yet not received the refund to which I am legally entitled. You cannot make contact with these people. You cannot get through on the phone - their 'mail box' is full. If you send an email, it will be returned 'permanently deleted'. When I was waiting for this item to arrive, I started looking on-line to see if anyone else had had problems with this 'store'. What I found was quite shocking but seems to be true. It is not a 'store' in any sense of the word. Look on Google Street Maps and you will see that their business address is a block of flats on a residential housing estate - their web site is totally misleading. This is illegal when selling via the internet. Many other dissatisfied customers had written about their disappointing and frustrating experience with these people, one allegedly having resorted to taking them to court to get his money back and the company getting a CCJ!! Quite how these people are not vetted by Wowcher I do not know, but once my dispute is settled I will unsubscribe and buy my products through legitimate merchants.

I too am having problems with this company. i ordered a games console early nov in plenty of time for my daughters xmas present. which still hasn't arrived despite my dozen emails to discount vouchers and vivacity i have (apart from 1 automated response from discount vouchers saying my query would be dealt with within 5 working days....15 days ago) i have had no response and can't get anyone to speak to on the phone. Any ideas? Perhaps if all dissatisfied customers got together to approach trading standards authority about these disgraceful companies?

Customer Service - Vivacity Style

Ordered an Android on 14/09/2012 and have still not received the item despite numerous emails which only draw inane responses after 4/5 days saying that the item has been shipped - no detail , no apology. My customer account says the item was shipped 3 weeks ago!! And any response comes from the "customer service division"- I am afraid they do not really understand the meaning of those words!!

I ordered a lap top through wowcher 25th September....... now 27th October still no laptop, i have contacted wowcher and was told they have had several complaints with similar complaints. I have sent loads of e-mails to vivacity but no reply when i log on to my account it just says processing.

I did pay through pay -pal i am going to get back to wowcher next week to organize a refund. think i will also contact watch dog..... may be if everyone also does the same other people wont be out of pocket. This was my sons xmas present i just hope i get the refund before xmas so i have the money to get him some thing else.

Poor Everything

I ordered the android tablet also via wowcher on the 14 Sep 12, and to this day I have not received the item but apparently this was shipped over 1 week ago.......... I have sent numerous emails to no avail, I have also contacted wowcher directly to speak to management with regards to the problem, still no response, all they do is assure me the item is on its way!!!!! I had to ask is it coming from china????...... My only advice to anyone in the same situation is to contact the office of fair trading and express your dissatisfaction with both parties concerned............ Will not use either again.....
