I ordered facepaints for our annual Lifeboat Day, and was impressed by their website. After 8 weeks, (by which time the event had passed) I still had not received them or heard from the company. I found 3 different emails through paypal, the website and my order confirmation, and finally got a reply to say I'd receive a refund by cheque - still awaiting. Ordered 21st July, now 13th October. Have now emailed, threatening action.

Total scam - If this site let me give them 0 stars for everything, that's what I wouldv'e given them.

Ordered 20th July from the face paint shop. Nothing received as 12th August. No response to any of my three emails. Do not deal with this company. They used to be great but, it seems, no longer.

Without doubt the The Face Paint Shop is the worst company i have ever dealt with - ordered some face paints which failed to arrive. Asked for refund - they said to get it via 'chargeback' from my bank - my bank said this was only for fraud - now face paint shop dont answer my emails. I have asked everyone i know to email them and annoy them because they have ripped me (and others by the looks of things) completely off. Stay away!

I placed an order with this company on the 31st March 09, it has still not been delivered 12 days later, i have emailed them every day since , and telephoned them to find out about its whereabouts, I have recieved no reply at all. I have complained to hsbc secure payment services about the non delivery of goods, and also the fact that they have not replied. and am in the process of retrieving the money that I paid for the ordere from mine own bank.

i ordered face paints 2 weeks ago and they haven't arrived. i've had no response to email and The Face Paint Shop don't answer their phone. think i've been swindled!

Ordered goods on the 6th Dec 08 payment taken from my account on the 8th. Today is the 22nd Still not received anything! Tried to phone countless times no answer or facility to leave a message. Sent them secure messages.... No response from them either.

I ordered goods from www.facepaintshop.co.uk to the value of £43 and I never received them. As of 6th July 2008 I am still waiting for a response from them despite trying every available way to contact the sellers. So.. I feel like I've lost the money.

I ordered a package "starter kit" of face paints on Tuesday 15 Aug from The Face Paint Shop and was told that they would arrive within 7-10 days, (which they did, today Wed 23 Aug). Initially I left it at that and waited. I checked on the website to see any updates to my order and had realised that it has been duplicated. This is where I started to get concerned as I knew that should they try to obtain payment via my PayPal it would be rejected. I tried to contact the Face Paint Shop by telephone but no response on several occasions. I then e-mailed them via the contact us section/customer services/PayPal contact to inform them to cancel the duplicated order. No response. So, I continued to try and contact via telephone and email. I received standard update e-mail yesterday (22 Aug) to say that my order has been dispatched then finally received another e-mail from customer services in response to my panic message earlier. Initially I was not holding my breath that I was going to receive them as some reviews said they had received this message and still had not received their order. Low and behold my order was received today with the post, all in perfect condition and correct as per the description on facepaintshop.co.uk. So, based on my personal experience I will definitely use them again but I would recommend them cautiously and give them the chance to improve customer service dept.
