I ordered some fabric, Oh Sew Crafty took the money from my bank. The following day I got an email to say the fabric was no longer in stock. I went back on their website and it was still showing as in stock but at a higher price than what I had paid, clearly they did still have the fabric in stock, they just didn't want to sell it to me at the price I had paid so broke their contract with me.

I asked for them to send the same fabric but in a different colour but they refused even though under their Terms and Conditions it states "Where appropriate, you may be required to select the required [size] [model] [colour] [number] [other features] of the Goods that you are purchasing".

Shocking customer services. DO NOT USE.

This was the first time I used this company and the reviews on their site were very complementary.The online ordering process was easy to use and the order was shipped quickly and the money taken from my account. However, over two weeks later the parcel has still not arrived.I contacted customer services and on both occasions I was told they would look into it and get back to me. But they never did. I ordered it in sufficient time for it to be delivered before half-term as my daughter wanted to make a costume but we are both disappointed. I had tried to leave a review on their site but it went for moderation and did not appear. Is this what happens to any negative reviews?

Made an order online. On the Friday I informed of shipment but after the weekend was told one of the fabrics was out of stock! Apparently it is an automated system that said it was shipped when it wasn't. The apparent reason for running out of the stock was it being sold in the store. So now I can only have two out of the three matching fabrics. All they would do was refund the one fabric and send out the rest of the order. I now no longer trust that the fabrics they say are in stock are actually going to be sent to me!

I suggest they sor out automatic emails saying the order is shipped and actually update their stock online to say when it is low and may be sold out!

I bought some cheap cotton fabric and some interliner from their ebay shop. The interliner was fine and very well priced but the fabric was so thin it was totally unsuitable for my purpose (I was making a bag).

I didn't know whether to just chalk it up to experience or try and get a refund, I figured it would cost as much to return it as did to buy it so why bother? In the end I decided to ask for a refund, as I felt a bit annoyed about how thin it was and it was niggling me, even though it wasn't much money. I sent them an email and they replied quickly and politely telling me to return it. I got my refund pretty quickly and they even refunded my original postage, so I was pleased.

A few weeks later I was looking for some cheap cotton fabric to use for patchwork and thought I'd give them another chance. They had some pretty cotton fabrics on their web site at the same price as their ebay shop but with cheaper postage.

I chose 5 different fabrics - they were all very reasonably priced but I only bought half a metre of each just in case they were too thin again.

I ordered them on Wednesday 14th August (in the afternoon too!) and they were delivered the very next day, which is probably the fastest delivery I've ever had - I live on the West Coast of Scotland, btw. I won't expect this kind of speed every time, but I had to mention it.

All the fabrics were good quality and I wished I'd bought much more. I'll definitely use this company again. I'm glad I gave them another chance - I could easily have just binned the original thin material and never used them again.

On the downside, I found their web site slightly awkward. I was looking for a particular fabric that they had on ebay and in the end I put the name of it in the search box and found it. There are a lot of categories and it had been listed under "novelty" fabrics, which I wouldn't have thought of looking at. Obviously I had the name of it from ebay, but most of the time I'm just browsing for something pretty and cheap and wouldn't know the name.

I was really pleased to find such cheap fabric online as this is something I have always struggled with. I make cushion covers and was looking for good quality fabric at a reasonable price when I stumbled across this website. The fabric was posted out immediately and arrived after only 3 days. Really pleased with the quality of the fabric, it's just what I was looking for. Cannot recommend highly enough and will definitely be sharing with all my crafty friends.

I have bought fabric from this company since they opened in Kidderminster. I have always been treated with the greatest courtesy by the staff .It's a delight to be helped by such pleasant young men. Nothing appears to be too much trouble for them, and they are aware of their stock which always helps if one can't see what one wants. Each time I visit there is new stock, when requesting something they don't have it's usually there for my next visit.

I make cotton bunting and can always find a huge range of cotton fabrics to choose from on Oh Sew Crafty's website. They post it out immediately and at a very reasonable price. Can't recommend them highly enough, can't think of anything negative to say!

Have had a few orders over the last few months and have always been completely satisfied with them. Good selection of fabrics at very reasonable prices. Delivery has always been quick, postage very reasonable. Keep up the good work - Trish Roberts

Their fabric may be cheap but I would suggest you avoid this company like the plague. Placed an order and waited 10 days for delivery before contacting them. Asked for tracking info and kept being fobbed off. Finally given tracking info and the parcel was delivered next day. They had obviously only just posted it! To add insult to injury two items were missing and the owner is refusing to refund me unless I close the Paypal case. The worst customer service ever!
