I ordered a trowel from this company they took my money and no goods for over 3 weeks. I ran the contact number and just got a answering machine and I never recieved a call back.

I would not buy again from this firm

Me and two mates were heading off on a field trip and had been let down by another website where we had ordered trowels. I spoke to these people and they posted the three trowels we needed by special delivery which arrived next day before 1pm - we were heading to the airport at 3!!! Brilliant service, totally got us out of a sticky situation. Good prices too :-)

I placed my order over two weeks ago, and the money was taken out of my account four days later. Since then I have recieved no contact from the company, and all of my attempts to contact the company have been fruitless. The phone number goes to answermachine everytime - I have called during standard office hours, and I have called about 15 times. I have also emailed, with no response. The 'contact us' button on the website will not send my message. So basically, Archaeologytools.co.uk have taken my money and not sent me anything (despite claiming to post things on the same day as they are ordered!) Completely unimpressed with the company and the services they supposedly provide.

I had a refreshing experience with Archaeology Tools Ltd recently. My son is at university studying archaeology and had a dig scheduled to begin on Saturday in Aberdeenshire. We live in London and on Friday afternoon discovered that a special kind of trowel was required. We found the web site, found the product required and phoned them to confirm stock and if delivery could be organised.

The very helpful gentleman assured us we were in good hands and arranged a special delivery for the following morning before 9am. We placed the order, the trowel arrived - well packed, on time and at a good price. My son had a great experience and was properly equipped!
