Having Ordered An Elonex All In One System From Wa

Having ordered an Elonex all in one system from Watford Electronics, it eventually arrived, after trying to call and sending numerous emails.The box looked as if it had fallen from a lorry, and the inside packing was the same. No software CD's were packed, and some leads were missing.I think the build quality of Elonex is great, unlike Savastore/Watford Electronics or what ever they call themselves.

I Bought My Carrera Computer Because Of Its Hi Lev

I bought my Carrera Computer because of its hi level spec, and because it came with a five year warranty - three years on site and 2 years RTB. One week after it arrived from Watford Electronics (with damage to the tower case) the hard drive failed completely. I had to spend literally hours on the phone trying to get through to the warranty department. After twenty minutes in a queue they cut me off and I had to start again! Agh!!!

A few moths after that Saga, they wrote to me and told me that Carrera had been taken over by Watford Electronics, and that my warranty was void. They would however honour it for a total of two years only (on site). I've never understood this. They were part of Watford Electronics before.

Two weeks before my warranty was up my graphics card failed. After two days of attempts to get through, the guy on the line persuaded me that he couldn't get someone to visit me on site for 2 weeks, but could have it picked up by courier in two days. I agreed - bad mistake. They have had my PC for a month now, and they are still waiting for a part.

My business has been on standstill waiting for this to be sorted. I've just bought a laptop so that I can keep doing business (a DELL!!!).

The staff at Watford Electronics range from 'hard cheese' to embarrassed and under pressure. I've learned that when I started this recent repair issue with them the warranty department had only one person there to answer the calls. They were again disconnecting me after 20 minutes. The time to reply to emails is five days. Appalling.

I will never buy from Watford Electronics, Aries PC or Carrera SSC again!

I Purchased A Saitek Force Feedback Joystick And R

I purchased a Saitek Force feedback joystick and really wish I hadn't gone anywhere near Watford Electronics!

The product didn't arrive and there was no delivery note by the carrier within the expected time frame. I then got an automated message stating that I had requested my order to be cancelled (not true)! My order was subsequently cancelled. However, they withheld the postage and packaging fees.

Attempting to contact their customer services department is nothing short of nigh on impossible, and when I did get through (over 30 minutes later) I was met by a member of staff who constantly interrupted me before I was able to explain my entire situation, and refused to look into the matter, as she implied that I may be lying about my story. She also strangely enough stated refunds on shipping were not possible, but after 5 minutes of arguing said 'all I can do is give you your money back' - exactly what I wanted in the first place!

Oh and while you wait in the telephone queue you're told to try contacting them via email instead - quoted response time is 5 days!!

5 E-mails And Several Attempts At Phoning Watford

5 e-mails and several attempts at phoning Watford Electronics has resulted in total frustration and a faulty computer and additional hardware which cannot be implemented. Not even had the courtesey of a reply. What is the use of an extended warranty.

I too agree there's no such thing as after sales service with this company. Got a pc sat here 3wks old not working since it arrived. sent over 25 emails with no replies. I too have onsite warranty. its now in the hands of trading standards i ain't wasting my time with these people, just want my £1100 back.

Having Been Told Watford Electronics Were The Next

Having been told Watford Electronics were the next best thing to sliced bread; they turned out to be useless. Goods ordered over 5 weeks ago haven't turned up, and other goods that did turn up were of a quality fit for the rubbish bin. Cheap and cheerful is an overstatement. If you want to throw money away then use this company.

I Placed An Order For Stocked Items (belikin F5d90

I placed an order for stocked items (Belikin F5D9015UK) with Watford Electronics on Friday the 7th of October at 2:30pm. I paid £17.56 extra for Saturday delivery, and received it on Tuesday. They have not replied to my email complaints, and they have not credited me for the delivery charge, and to make it worse they use a premium rate phone number with long queues even when it is their fault!

As I Had Previously Ordered Some Peripherals From

As I had previously ordered some peripherals from Watford Electronics with no problems, I ordered an Aries Performa costing £900 which was delivered on time. I'm glad that I know a little bit about computers otherwise I wouldn't have been able to set it up due to the lack of manuals. When I e mailed them to ask if there should have been any manuals, such as a installation or motherboard manual, I was told to hit the Start button in Windows and click on help. Very good.

As it happened the pc wouldn't play DVDs from day 1, so it was returned as faulty. It was collected on time and I was told by Watford that they had 28 days to process all returns. But then the real problems started. Despite several emails to them, after 43 days I had neither a pc or a refund. Watford had my money for 55 days before they issued a refund, although they didn't bother informing me that was what they had done until I sent them a stronger worded e mail. And like the other reviewers, I too tried to telephone them without success. Thank goodness I didn't have to pay the phone bill. I would strongly recommend that you avoid this company.

Purchased 2 Laptop Computers From Watford Electron

Purchased 2 laptop computers from Watford Electronics both had the same problem, they would not connect to the internet. The software support line they supplied could not resolve the problem. Trying to get the computers collected was a nightmare, they don't answer the phone and they don't answer emails. I did eventually get the computers collected but they have still not given me my money back. I purchased them by credit card so I will be recovering the money from Visa. You should not deal with this company they are happy to take your money but when things go wrong they just don't want to know you. They have no customer service.

Non-existent customer service. Impossible to get through on helpline (average 45 mins wait at premium rate) and ignored emails. Computers was faulty when delivered (never worked after loading up anti-virus software they supplied) and 2 months later still have no PC, but am still £800 poorer. They also trade as savastore.com and Carrera. DO NOT USE THEM
