Next Day Delivery Arrived A Week Later And No Response

AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I paid a premium for next-day delivery, then saw that they hadn't even processed the order on the due delivery day. I emailed them to cancel the order, tried their "live" text chat.. more like a mortuary.., but absolutely no response.

The item arrived out of the blue a week later with parts all loose inside (I haven't dared open it yet).

If you want a definition of utterly atrociously appalling service, then look no further from the diabolical redstore.com who should be investigated and shut down

Keep Away

Unfortunately I came across this company surfing for a computer mouse on the internet.

They had an incredible good price (usually a sign of risk I admit), so I gave it a shot.

After two weeks, with no previous warning that the item had been dispatched, someone delivered a GINORMOUS parcel with no reference to the Redstore. So I was wondering what the heck was that thing? Have I won some kind of raffle?

When I opened the box, it was a grill (?!?!?!?) in the midst of several plastic air bags... When I finally found the invoice I realized the mistake.

They simply sent me a grill in a giant box instead of a computer mouse, although the invoice was correctly mentioning the correct item.

Called them, e-mailed them several times. No success. They take in average two weeks to answer an email and through the telephone they can only open your case, but you can't talk to the people who can solve your problem.

After two months they send me an email saying they don't have the mouse anymore, asking if I would accept another one that costs half the price.

OUTRAGEOUS!

Awful Company, Awful Service

I placed an order on Redstore.com after seeing a special offer listed on another website. (I actually ordered 10 of this item as it was quite a good deal). Two weeks went by and I didn't receive my order nor any communication from the company (despite the initial order confirmation).

I decided to email Redstore.com asking for an update on my order and they refunded the payment (I paid by Google Checkout) and sent me an email saying the product was EOL, no longer sourcable and was a pricing error as the supplier had changed the product. So, that's THREE reasons that they could not deliver the product to me, yet the didn't have the decency to tell me and kept my money until I contacted them.

Absolutely appalling service and I will never, NEVER, use redstore.com again.

Appalling Company Who Keep Money Until You Ask For It Back!

Ordered an item at a bargain price after seeing an item on a popular bargain website. After two week I chased up my order only to be told my order was out of stock and they could no longer source it. It turns out the company are hoping customers will forget about their item and thus making a tidy profit, how do I know this? Because other people on the website had been given a refund on their order after a few days when they chased up, thus knowing everybody with the same order should have been refunded at least a week earlier, shameful!

Really Poor

Ordered an SSD from then and they refused to honour the price. Fair enough it was a mistake, but they never got back to me at all and then only when I contacted them after a week they cancelled the order, stating I wished to cancel? Definitely not a good experience and I suspect they were hopingh they would keep the money and hope I (and many others) forgot about it.

Would NOT recommend.

Completely Let Down By Redstore

Ordered a netbook from Redstore - for me a significant £200+ purchase - which they supposedly had in stock, and got an email receipt saying it would be delivered soon. Only two and a half days later did I get this:

Hi,

Thank you for your order

The item you have order is EOL no longer source able in the market

Please let me know how you like to proceed with the order

Regards,

Team Redstore

Leaving aside how it's written (I'm guessing EOL means End of Line but not sure) I'm used to the occasional annoying experience of trying to order online and getting all the way to the end only to discover an item is out of stock, but taking several days to find out that what you thought you ordered is not coming leaves me high and dry in terms of getting what I wanted when I wanted it, so I would suggest giving Redstore a wide berth if you are looking for a reliable firm to order from. I sent them an email yesterday expressing my dissatisfaction - perhaps in two and a half days they will get round to replying....

Avoid, Avoid, Avoid

The retailer sent me the wrong item, then demanded that I pay the full cost of returning the wrong item to them. They failed to honour the order at all. So Redstore.com have now cost me £3.65 to not meet the order. I told them a good retailer would offer to pay for the postage given it was their mistake, they told me that this was not their policy.

So there you have it, by their own policy, they are not a good company.

Their customer service responses were largely unintelligible (the first reply I got when I told them they had sent the wrong item was “Please let the item as it is we are working on it and let you an update on the issue”).

They also overcharged on the shipping, given that they charged £6 and I was able to return the items they sent me 1st class, in the same packaging , for £3.65.

I would avoid these guys at any cost. I have nothing good to say about them. Even their website looks terrible, which should have been a red flag for any online retailer.

A Plethora Of Reasons To Avoid.

There is nothing positive to say. every element of the ordering process was beyond poor. you know that item that's cheap and seems to good to be true. With redstore it is. never written one of these type of things before, service so bad, felt compelled to. Honestly, don't waste your time of money.

A3 Scanner For £100!

Ordered an A3 scanner, by far the best price I found on the net and was brand new.

The scanner is to an older design and the software is a little dated, however it works fine and produces clear images at decent resolution so very happy.

Payment was simple, and delivery was quicker than advertised, couldn't ask for more, highly recommended seller!

Liked:

- Excellent price

- Brand new equipment (not second hand or refurbished)

- Easy payment

- Fast Delivery
