Excellent Service

I recently ordered a new PC from PCSpecialist, the second time I have done so. It arrived quickly, it was easy to set up and was exactly as I expected. I returned to PCspecialist as their customer support has always been excellent, whether for troubleshooting issues with my PC, or dealing with replacement parts.

New Gaming PC

I recently purchased a high-spec gaming PC from PC Specialist and couldn't be happier with the experience. The website made it easy to configure the system exactly how I wanted, with plenty of options and helpful prompts to ensure all the components were compatible. The build quality is excellent, and I loved being able to track the progress of my PC with the 360-degree build view. Delivery was fast, and the PC has been running flawlessly for the two weeks I've had it. I did run into a minor issue with my monitors, but the support team responded quickly and helped me resolve it without any hassle. Overall, I'm really impressed with the service and the product — would definitely recommend PC Specialist to anyone looking for a custom gaming PC.

Cheaper and better

After deliberating over building my PC for almost a year, I finally used PC Specialist, when comparing individual prices of components, it actually works out cheaper. Their interface with notes for compatible parts was so handy and actually made the process really fun. I got a really good high spec PC for a great price and I love that I have 12 months interest free to pay it off. It did take a little longer to build than I thought it would but only by a day or two and they keep you updated every step of the way. It arrived really well packaged and when I couldn't get a small component to work, it was quickly fixed with tech support. Thank you!

Built to my spec!

I had an idea of what i wanted for a CAD Workstation. After i made my PC spec on-line I spoke to the sales department who guided me & tweaked my spec. Less than 2 weeks later it arrived & i plugged it in. It flies like i knew it would! Excellent!

Custom-built PC with ARGB lighting

I ordered a custom-built desktop PC for my wife, and she is absolutely delighted with it, thank you. I chose PC Specialist because the website allows you to choose many components with ARGB lighting effects, and a transparent case. The only issue was that the foam insert for transit that was inside the PC, had moved the graphics card support bracket so that it was touching a fan of the graphics card, causing fan noise. I was able to swing the support bracket back to its correct position supporting the graphics card, and the fans are now quiet. The PC now works very well.

Decent build process and finance options, but disappointing long-term support

I chose PCSpecialist because their finance options made it possible for me to afford a custom-built PC for work, and the ordering and build process itself was quick, clear, and easy. That part of the experience was very positive. On the support side, the staff I’ve dealt with have generally been polite, helpful, and knowledgeable when I’ve spoken to them so no complaints about the people in tech department. Unfortunately though, I’ve had to speak to them far too often which has escalated to other departments where the experience has been disappointing. Since early on my PC has never truly run properly, and over three years it’s been back to them for RMA twice already both times leaving me without a working system for weeks, only for the same issues to crop up again. In between, I’ve had to replace parts myself just to keep it limping along and multiple calls to tech to be given diagnostics ideas and instructions for me to carry out . Now that the three-year build warranty has expired, I find myself having to fight just to get them to take responsibility and fix what I’ve been saying all along —while they frame anything they offer as “a goodwill gesture” rather than owning the long-term faults. It feels like they’re sticking rigidly to the legal minimum obligations rather than simply doing right by a customer who’s clearly had a lemon from the start. Bottom line: if you know your way around PCs and are happy to diagnose and fix issues yourself, you’ll probably find them fine. But for the average or casual buyer who just wants a reliable, worry-free experience, I honestly couldn’t recommend them.

Q&A

Bobby24

As I have no experience building a pc, should I consider getting tech assistance or just try build it on my own based of what I can find on YouTube?

4
SteveGraphicsGuru

You should consider getting tech assistance, i have had built to my own specification the equipment i need from PC Specialist, (I have had my last two laptops from them, great service and no, i don't work for them lol). It would make sense to talk to them first as they would have a better grasp of what is currently available in the market right now. They would also know what is best suited to your budget and build according to what you are going to use your PC or laptop for. hope this helps.

For some reason I keep getting loaded into the bios. I am new at pcs and don’t know how to fix the problem I have tried restarting it but nothing’s works any help would be appreciated I did buy the pc from pc specialists and I have a ASUs bio.

Check your BIOS settings for any automatic BIOS access - Like.. As soon as you turn it on, look for something that can turn it off. Also I would recommend speaking to PC Specialist about it.

I would phone them they are very helpful. I would think it depends on how far they have got. they are the best computer firm I have dealt with.my pc is great

Castleman

I'm considering buying a laptop from them and wondered what are the actual laptop itself is like? What make or brand can they be compared to? Are they just a cheap case/shell around quality components or as I'm hoping a decent bit of hardware?

Thanks in advance to everyone!

Hi Castleman

The only chassis I can tell you about is the Cosmos 2 17.3 in chassis the top is brushed gunmetal grey metal and it is the same on the keyboard area the finish is excellent and it really looks the part the chassis is not cheap and it does not flex the laptop weighs over 3kg I would not hesitate to buy another hope this helps
