2 x 128mb memory modules for FIC Notebook PC A440. I purchased the memory modules for my daughter's old Millenium laptop and had been pretty sure that i had bought the right ones but they were nothing like the 'module' which i had removed from its slot in the laptop and moreover there did not seem to be a slot for the second module...having read one or two reviews of Orca i phoned them with some confidence and was not disappointed...the call was picked up in a few seconds and the lady i spoke to first simply took my order number so that the technician knew who i was and what i had bought...it did not take him very long to gather that the 'module' i had removed from its slot was in fact the graphics card! ... Oh well ... so, a five minute call at the most, and on the right track ....the modules were as expected the right ones and i was reasonably competent after that with the result that the old Millenium laptop has a new lease of life, responsive, not crashing or freezing much at all and with a reliable wireless connection to the internet...it means i can use some old programs that won't work with W7 and my younger grandson has a laptop that he can near enough call his own... Many thanks to Orca for simply providing good customer service, competent, helpful, friendly, patient and taking responsibility...5 Star!

I was trying to upgrade my wife's old Compacq PC and used Orcalogic's website to assess the memory needs. I bought 4 x 512k memory cards from them and they arrived promptly and well packed. Before I could install them the PC crashed as a result of some diabolical worm infestation probably picked up from downloading material for a website I am building. I had to resurrect my own Intel clone PC from the cupboard and rescue the situation (fortunately I had made back ups of my web stuff). The RAM on my other PC was small so i installed the new cards from Orcalogic but soon found malfunctions and screens dropping. Via there brilliant Real Time Talk service and after doing an Orcalogic scan to determine the state of my PC they advised me that the RAM I had bought for the old machine was too fast for this replacement PC. On Orca's recommendation I bought replacement RAM and true to their word they sent a returns pack allowing me to send the unsuitable RAM Cards back for full refund! How often these days do you get a firm that is as helpful as that and does what it says on the tin? I am now busy putting my website together and my PC is working like a dream (use Google Chrome browser its brilliant).

My company have used Orca for around 7 years and order RAM modules on a weekly basis for a variety of machines - the modules are generally always in stock and the website lists a huge range of machine types.

Items are shipped promptly, well packaged and returns are dealt with quickly and efficiently.

Phone calls are usually answered quickly and the live chat feature is useful for non-urgent queries.

Easy to order, high-quality product and very fast delivery. Would recommend to anyone.

Normally I wouldnt do this but to be honest after reading the bad review I was a bit wary about ordering from this company.

However I dont regret it my 2-3 day delivery wait came within one day (GREAT).

I had a problem online so I rang into the store and they sorted it straight away. Although it was a minor problem I was surprised as to how well it was handled.

I only spent £59.99 but I say to things the delivery is better than amazon and so is the service and when someone is dealing with your money you want to feel confident within in them so i thought just in case anyone wanted to read the reviews for this company I should put one up.

By the way my memory again although I only got it today fit perfectly unlike amazons and runs perfectly with no problems. My laptop has never been so fast and thats every accounting students dream lol a fast laptop.

Stated on their website: 100 items in stock, delivery 2 to 3 working days. I phoned them after a week to find out that they meant that the items were in stock whith THEIR supplier and it had not yet being delivered to them. I ended up getting a refund and went somewhere else. Total waste of time.

Purchased extra RAM for my pc from Orca because they were, by far, cheaper than anywhere else. Their website is user-friendly, delivery was swift and the actual product was packaged immaculately. Highly recommended.

The Orca Logic web site has a very easy to use drop-down menu system, which helps you to find your computer make and model.

As soon as you find your computer, the web site lists which memory devices are compatible with it. Making a selection is easy - just click on 'buy' and it adds the item to your shopping basket.

Once you have finished shopping it is easy to pay over a secure web area.

You have to create a customer identity before you buy for the first time, and then use this if you want to shop in the future. This took me about 2 minutes (maximum) to do.

Once you have placed your order, the company sends you an e-mail with a reference number, which you can use to track your order.

Orca gave me a choice of delivery methods eg. next day, next day before 9am, recorded, or normal Royal Mail delivery.

I chose normal Royal Mail, which was free p&p, and my order still arrived within 48 hours. This is especially good, as I paid with a Visa Electron card, which can take up to 4 days for payments to process.

The memory module was well packaged, and it came with an anti-static wrist strap and instructions. It took me about 5 minutes to install the memory, and that was from unplugging the computer to starting it back up again!!!

Oh, and the price was about half of what PC World were charging!

I will definitely use this company again for upgrading the RAM in my computer.
