Itsagoodprice.com sells a range of computers, software and electronic equipment, like MP3 players. I saw an advert for it in a field off the M6 somewhere and thought I would have a look.

The layout is clear, since the text is mostly black on a white background, with green the other major colour used.The homepage lists a few products on special offer, and there is the usual navigation bar on the left. The product search is a little hard to find, which was a bit annoying, but I eventually came across it in the top right hand corner. Once I found it, it seemed to work OK, and I was able to find what I was looking for, as the search returned only a few results instead of the thousands which are often the result of a simple search. I suspect this may be down to a limited range of stock as much as anything. I wanted an iPAQ, checked the price against a few other sites and took the plunge.

The shopping basket presents no surprises and works in much the same way as thousands of other ecommerce sites. Again, the "add to basket" link is a bit small.

The thing which really set itsagoodprice.com apart was the customer service. The iPAQ which I eventually ordered was delivered OK. Unfortunately, it would not work with my sim card. Having heard horror stories about several other online retailers and the way they handle complaints, I called them on the phone with some trepidation.

To my surprise, the phone was answered by a person rather than a machine. After a few simple tests to make sure that the product was indeed faulty (like trying other sim cards), they collected the iPAQ and sent out a replacement, which worked fine. The whole process took only a few days from when I placed the original order.

Overall, I had a pretty good experience on this site, and will probably look there again next time I am buying computers or electronics.
