Funny i had the same problem, the seller asked me for more money to for something that was working fine and only needed a new shell as well! Tried contacting him as well, no respone... He seems to only accept calls, no emails!! Same as his shop thestation4u on e-bay won't accept emails through e-bay (funny that!!) He seems to have ok feedback with ebay, maybe that's because people are paying through paypal and he can't mess them about.. But at his store console-repairs he asks for cash for repairs and then breaks the item more and asks for more cash... Knowing that the buyer is already out money for posting it, and their obviously going to say yes... Stay away!! Go to your local store if possible, even if they are a couple of quid dearer....

I cannot beging to warn you enough about this seller, sent a ds-lite to console-spares a couple weeks ago to replace a shell for me and enclosed £35 in special delivery envelope, got a phone call from a guy called Dave when he received it to say that there was now something wrong with the screen and he needed more money, this was a load of rubbish as it was working fine. I eventually agreed as i didn't want to be out £6 postaging there and £6 postaging back again, so i deposited money into sellers paypal a/c and that was that... Until i checked my email later on to find a refund from paypal stating this game is unrepairable too many problems!!!.

I phoned Dave only to find out that he can't be bothered fixing it and that he's broke it more and also im still out £12 pounds postaging for nothing as Dave helped himself to the money in the envelope before returning it to me!!!! I received the ds back a few days later only to realise there was nothing else wrong apart from it needed a new case!!

I took it to a repair shop in Belfast a couple of days later who informed me that the ds was working fine and that he could definitely replace the case for me for the same price!!

Im so gutted i didn't contact this company in the first place as console-spares is completely unreliable.

He got £12 from me for nothing, just because he couldn't be bothered fixing it stay away he's a scam artist!!!!!!!!

Bought a couple of touch screens from this website console-spares.co.uk for the Nintendo DS Lite. Only one arrived in the packet, when I contacted them I was treated like muck and said to be fraudulant.

Was told not to bother using the site again and customer services slammed the phone down on me. Not the way I would treat my customers and not the way i expect to be treated.

I am now in the process of recovering my money via Paypal and will NEVER deal with these people again.
