Firstly can i say that not for one minute do I believe that this company can get a 19% recomend rate.

In all my years of buying over the internet I have never come close to dealing with a company like this! First thing, the goods took over two weeks to arrive although they were "in stock and ready for imediate despatch". When they did arrive I was amazed...the packing box measuring about 3'x3'x3' was of the flimsest cardboard you could imagin. Inside was a Dell base unit, Tft monitor, keyboard and cables. The only thing that was wrapped was the keyboard, the rest were just dropped into the box and some bubble wrap placed on top. The base unit case was completely smashed and the monitor had the biggest gouges down the panel from the plugs!!

The items were returned the following day!...this is where the fun started.

After more than four months of emails, telephone calls, chatroom conversations, recorded delivery letters to the owners Mr Chris Dobson and Mr Lee Dobson and not once getting a reply to any of my communication I passed the matter over to Mastercard.

I eventualy got my £160 back from the nice people at Mastercard, I can only assume CC still have their money!!

In closing all I can say is VERY VERY dodgie set up indeed, steer well clear!

Bought a computer for my son in March 2011 and still have not recieved it and no refund given. July 2011. Still trying to get our money back, found previous reviews helpful.

Wish I'd seen this review page earlier, I feel like I'm losing my MIND! Yes, there are a couple of good reviews on here but whilst they have been LUCKY, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. Shockingly bad company. Ordered computer 3 May, same story as all the others ... chased up countless times by phone (staff were rude, unhelpful and seemed 'put out' by being chased up). Eventually on 23rd May after countless ignored e-mails and fruitless called I cancelled my order and was promised a refund. Well it's now 13 June and, guess what ... NO REFUND. They refuse to put you through to 'finance' or the 'managers' saying they are in 'meetings'. They just say the same thing over again .."it should be sorted by next week). Now under dispute with the bank. Phone constantly engaged so you definitely can't get in touch with them now.

I bought and paid for a laptop in December 2010. Allowing for holidays, deivery was prompt but I couldn't switch it on. I returned it & was told it was working fine (I hadn't found the on/off switch). Was offered redelivery or refund. Opted for refund and after several phone calls/letters and 4 months am still waiting. Wish I'd found this site before buying.

As noted on various other reviews THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT DELIVER.

Customer services appalling. They never ring back when requested. The person you want to speak to is never available. Rude, ignorant staff.

Pc ordered then we cancelled when it failed to show. Refund promised but never received.

Contacted trading standards. They have many very bad reviews so why are they allowed to continue trading??? Watchdog also contacted.

PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU PAID VIA DEBIT CARD YOU CAN STILL GET YOUR MONEY BACK THROUGH YOUR BANK. Ask your bank for a VISA DISPUTE FORM. By law they have to give you a refund through credit card payments over £100 but banks now do this for any value of debit card transactions as a little known customer service benefit. It worked for us!

I purchased a laptop from Computer Clearances In March and received it a day after the expected delivery date. Altough it was tat day late i am very HAPPY with the item! I have to say i am shocked by the previous ratings as you can imagine they sell hundreds of computers a day and no one ever seems to right good reviews! Why is this? Hmmmmmm....Well thanks computer clearances...i never doubted you!

DO NOT BUY form this firm they do not deliver the good, I am taking my claim up with Consumer Protection. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT BUY. I would rate 0 out of 5 if possible!

Ordered my computer for my daughters birthday on the 12/03/11 the date now 05/04/11 and still not recieved it, when i ring them, all i get is you will recieve it the following monday/tuesday which never happens, also was told it would be delivered satuday morning which never happened, do yourself a favour and order else where

Computer clearances ltd ...I must of had a mental issue at the time I bought a laptop from them! The website is good (as you can tell yourself!) and they promise a lot dont they? The moment I bought one, I could tell something wasn't right. The way the order was processed, the way the customer service was continually avoided by them, and the fact that their T&C's were like a manual. In short, they have protected themselves from any comeback and are out to rip you off. They are not stupid, and you shouldn't be too. I dont even trust them to give me a refund, I just think of that show..the real hustle. Water under the bridge, and thats how I want it. Be sceptical and carefull, as most would advise..
