I am quite amazed it took me so long to find this company considering the amount of refurbished Apple computers they had in stock at such low prices. I would have thought there would be more coverage on cheap-it as i found them quite far back in the web search.

I ordered a macbook pro for £600 and it is like new. It came on time and has a 12 month warranty so I feel really lucky to have found it!

CheapIT.com or Technology Recycling Solutions should carry a warning!! My mother ordered a Dell laptop, they sent numerous emails saying the order was going through, then bombarded her with emails regarding her security on her card payment,which I see now was to lull her into a sense that they would "do right by her". They then advised her that they had a much better laptop in stock which she could have at the same price, their way of making up for the delays and their strict security procedures,as they put it. They sent her an "ERGO", when it broke 5 months later (after playing up since purchase), she contacted CheapIT, they emailed asking her to ring Peter Weller and he asked when she bought it, without even needing to take the order number he pounced saying all the ERGO laptops bought had only a three month guarantee and so it was not in warranty. My mum is 66 years old and we are now going through trading standards and have sent her story to rogue traders, this company at no time advised the guarantee would be less than 12 months but they seem to rely on bully boy tactics, say it with an attitide and the old dear will buy it! I intend to get her money back and make sure I leave this review on every site I can find.

The name should have been an indication of the kind of service and people working for this company.

Selected a Compaq pc online, went through with the order, and received the confirmation of the order, and money taken off my account. Two weeks later, as I call to confirm the delivery date, was told computer is not in stock. The agent who was supposed to call me back to arrange a replacement never did, asked for a refund (called 4 times) and 4 weeks later: no pc and no money. The matter is now in court.
