The countdown clock saying 'next dispatch is in 1 hour and 10 minutes' is a clever mechanism to make you hurry up and make your purchase.

The last two orders I've placed with Tightsplease have taken 10 days to arrive. I have no idea why it takes so long if the items are in stock and in theory the dispatch has happened the same day. I can only assume that the dispatch doesn't actually happen immediately.

I'm happy with the selection of tights available, and pricing (especially during a sale) and it's sensible to always have a few new pairs on stand by for emergencies but I wouldn't recommend this company if you need your tights by a certain day.

I've never had to return any tights to can't vouch for their customer care.

Very slow dispatch and communication. Nothing in stock - most items only XL. Then what they did send was in the wrong size and I had to pay for return delivery. Avoid.

I needed some new tights for the next day. I was so pleased to see that what I wanted was labelled 'in stock'. A notice said next despatch in 45mins. I immediately placed my order and believed that everything was looking good and they would be with me the next day. My confirmation order arrived at 10.20am. well inside the delivery time for next day delivery. At 15.01pm on the same day I had an email to tell me the tights had been processed - not despatched and would be with me in the next 2 - 4 days. I was shocked as it was too late to order them elsewhere. I rang customer relations and was told they had been despatched, then told they were at the warehouse, but she would try to cancel my order. Later she rang me to say the order had been cancelled. Too many contradictions from this company and needless to say I did not have any tights the next day which I had needed so desperately. Not to be trusted in my opinion - anything for a sale. Of course they didn't have a 'Cancelled due to having been duped' option in the 'Delivery' box above and so I have had to fill in 'Up to a week late' which wasn't actually the case but it could have been if they hadn't been cancelled.

One reason I like shopping at this site is because I can still buy some 60 denier tights in the summer if the weather is a bit cold. UK summers don't seem to exist any more and my legs never look good with goose bumps! Department stores seem only to have summer tights in the summer ...... Logical but not always Convenient! Also if there is bad weather I prefer for the postman to get wet rather than me ...... Sorry postie! :-)

Always order my wolford tights from this site. When I do they usually arrive within a couple of days. Sometimes they take a few days longer if the items are out of stock but the website shows this when you order so it's not a problem. They also have some very good deals on every now and again which can sometimes tempt me back for more!

Very easy to use site and some nice ideas on how to get the best tights. However I usually just buy my trusted favourites. Service has been impeccable for the few times that I have used them. Parcel arrives nice and quick. Packaging is a little plain but am probably nit picking to criticise them for this!

I love this site for the amount of tights that they have. They always seem to have what I am looking for whether it's for work or a night out. They are pretty honest by showing what is in stock and what you need to wait for. Everything I have ordered has arrived within a couple of days and has been very good quality. Was recommended to the site by a friend and have since recommended it to other friends of mine. It's a really good place to have in your little black book of shops online!

This lot are taking the mickey. I placed my order on 5th Dec and did not receive it until 21/12. I had phoned on 13/12 and the response was at best lack lustre and basically I was told the item was on it's way. Duh

I am aware there are problems with delivery given the exceptional weather conditions but having received several items from other postal retailers albeit slightly delayed but the time taken by this lot was unacceptable.

I like the other review have had to cut my losses because to send said item back would cost me postage on top of the postage I have already paid and £1.99 "handling fee" would mean I would pay nearly a tenner for nought which I guess is a good way for them to ensure profit then they can move on to the next mug/customer.

There are good companies out there use them and avoid this lot like the plague.

Like the previous review I had ordered the same tights a few times before.The last two packets I received were nothing like the previous ones:wrong colour,too small.I rang up first to ask about sending them back and was told to send them back to a Birmingham address which is apparrently the head office(no mention of this address on the website though).I was told that as the tights had been tried on they had to send then back to the manufacturers to investigate why they were different than before(I didnt know until I tried them on that they werent the same).I have rang the head office a few times now but have been frustrated by the response so am now in touch with Consumer Direct.

I've used this company several times and was reasonably happy. Then I ordered a pair of 'one size' tights. I expected them to possibly be on the big size for my 5 foot daughter but they only came up to her knees - (would have been ankle socks on a taller woman! I contacted the company and they asked me to return them so they could investigate which I did. I had to contact several times for a reply and many months after asking, I was given a refund - no apology, no postage costs and deducted £2 for a 'return' - awful uncaring service.
