I bought the jacket and trousers last year off Ghostbikes UK through Ebay because they advertised them as 'heavy duty ballistic nylon construction.'

After a total of three days use over two weekends the inner lower legs were showing signs of wear and tears.

I sent pictures to Ghostbikes who readily dismissed it stating that they had been heavily worn.

I then contacted Feridax, Spada's parent company, and they just believed Ghostbikes without even inspecting them initially themselves.

So the 12 month warranty they advertise is a load of pants !

The trouser button is just a small metal clasp, not very strong as are the calf zips when trying to zip them over your boots.

The jacket zips snag easily as well, the neck collar does not fit around my average sized neck and the so called back protection is just a thin piece of foam.

I have used and abused Spada products in the past but I will not buy or recommend them any more after the way my claim was dismissed so readily.
