The MerchNOW website is a good site for buying merchandise for bands.

The site is quite badly organised and a bit glitchy. The main complaint I have is that as orders are shipped from the US (I am in the UK), they incur a lot of customs and taxes which MerchNOW at no point let you know about. In fact the shipping cost itself (First class international through UPS, the only option available) was almost half the cost of the order. I waited weeks for these items to arrive. Eventually I received a letter from Royal Mail saying my items were being stored at the local delivery office as there was an outstanding balance for customs and taxes. This fee was equivalent to the total cost of my order again. I refused to pay and told them to send the items back. I wrote a complaint e-mail to MerchNOW customer service, and am currently waiting on a reply.

Overall not dire but certainly not good, and at no point do they mention any of the hidden charges you will be hit with, and the website could use some improvement.
