I Am So Dissapointed That Ll Bean Has Discontinued

I am so dissapointed that LL Bean has discontinued their

wide leg jeans. They were my favorite jeans because I am a plus size and they fit at the waist. I do not like the new wide leg jeans. They sit below the waist and Iam a plus size and I do not like them at all.

Please start carrying the old wide leg jeans. Please Please Please

Www.llbean.com - After Following Good Reviews From

www.llbean.com - After following good reviews from other sources, I decided to order LL Bean's famous wide-leg jeans. I am plus-size, and usually wear 16W or 18W clothing. I am sick of jeans that are tapered leg and low-rise, neither of which look good on a 40-something year old woman with real curves and extra weight here and there. And, if you can find boot cut, which is supposed to be flattering, they are low-rise as well. I think they just make me look like a stuffed sausage with elephant legs! Anyway, the wide-leg jeans by LLBean come in all sizes (4-20 regular and 18-24W) and two lengths, so be sure to check the sizing charts before you order. I found my jeans to be true to size. The slightly smaller waist means NO GAPPING waist band and no need to wear a belt. The waist band is high, so nothing rolls out over the top. The wide legs are wide from the hips all the way down, but DO NOT look like the old bell-bottoms from the 60s. These jeans are very flattering from the back, side, and front. I received a lot of compliments. Also, there is no spandex - so these jeans do not get all stretched out of shape by the end of the day. No lycra, so you can't expect to squeeze into a size smaller than you really wear. Just 100% medium/light weight cotton and nothing fancy. Wash cold, dry low. Prewashed, so no shrinking or fading. A timeless design for more mature figures. I liked my first pair of jeans so much, that I've ordered a black pair and another blue pair. There are 4 colors available, and only one waist band height available now - but people are hounding LL Bean to make the wide leg jeans available in other rises and colors.

I have also ordered a classic oxford shirt from LL Bean. NICE heavyweight cotton fabric, better than I expected. However, runs just a tad small in the chest and arms for a size 1X. But, I think this shirt is slightly fitted anyway, which means fairly unforgiving.

These jeans cost $34.95 to $39.95, which is very reasonable for a timeless, great-fitting pair of jeans.
