They do not answer your e-mails. So called customer service is non existing, a total radio silence.
After waiting three months, I asked money back from PayPal. At least they did their job well and got the money back.

They Cashed My Money And Never Delivered.
I ordered August, 13th, 2017 a Gi from Karateshopjapan. My payment with PayPal was excepted the same day and I got an invoice. It all looked very normal and professional. I waited 6 weeks to get my Gi. Then I asked politely back when I might receive my article. The answer was: Very soon. This went on for a few month. Finally I called this business, with no business address, by the way. I was happy to talk to somebody. His name was Jerome from Kyoto. I gave him the Order# and Invoice #. I gave him my address, name for identification and he said Oh yes, I will send you your Gi tomorrow and will email you a Tracking number.
Guess what. Have not received nothing. Tried to call him several times, but they blocked my phone number.
Be aware. He cashed in my 270 Dollars. I read several complaints about this business from other people who experienced the same thing. He collects money and does not send the article.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS GUYS. They are bad news.

Very Poor Communications And Couldn't Deliver
I took a gamble on ordering a Shureido karate suit from karateshopjapan.com.
The website itself isn't great but it offered PayPal as a payment method so I figured I could always get my money back.
I managed to place my order but I was never given an order number or confirmation that it had gone through.
I contacted the people behind the website a number of times to find out what was going on with my order but it was rare to get a reply.
Only when I said I would open a PayPal dispute did I get one.
So the website claimed my suit was in stock and delivery would take 2 weeks but now they were telling me that it would take up to 6 weeks to get the suit made.
I took another look at their website to see they had removed all Shureido suits from sale.
Communications to them were rarely acknowledged and from those I did get I could tell that English was not their first language which made things more difficult.
Eventually after 50 days the company just issued a refund in PayPal.
I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
Here's a complete transcript of the email correspondence I had with the shop.
It was just plain awful and with many messages going unanswered until finally they just refunded my payment.
