Service excellent, a pity my boots aren't. Two months old, 8 wearings and they're leaking. Very disappointed.

Boots arrived within 48 hours, very comfortable to wear until last week when I ended up with wet feet after a walk in the

countryside, this is very disappointing.

Delivery was fine - but the parka was too large and had a zip that kept sticking. I returned my goods 10 days ago. I phoned to explain I would be returning them and why.

I returned them 10 days ago and since then nobody has called or emailed to notify me of receipt of the goods or to reimburse. Thank heavens I sent them recorded delivery (so have proof of delivery) and not in the general first class post, as gear-zone recommended when I called them. Have chased this up twice now and both times been told they will have to look into it without ever hearing back. What I have had is a series of excuses of people not being in, the warehouse being behind and stand in staff not knowing the process.

I want my £187 back now, please!

First experience with gear-zone and their website is impressive and easy to navigate. So I proceeded with ordering and today 17/05/2011 recieved an auto generated email stating that my order had been cancelled as they don't have it in stock. Out of curiosity I went to the site to check the item and it was still showing in stock for X-Large. I've emailed that they should keep their website updated to save potential customers unnecessary placing orders on out of stock items. Not good experience. Hesitant to purchase from them again. The item http://www.gear-zone.co.uk/rab-boulder-pull-on-pid7351.html still shows in stock for X-Large as of 18/05/2011 00:10am.

This was my first experience with Gear-Zone and it was very negative.

My order was placed on 11 December (am) and I received an email confirmation within an hour stating that the item was in stock and the order was being packed. On 17 December, no email confirmation that the order had shipped so I emailed them and received a response that the item had "just sold out". Interesting, since it was in stock the previous week when I ordered it and paid for it.

Their customer service department has proven un-reachable: phone rings dozens of times with no answer, emails have been unanswerd. In the meantime, I found the same product at another store, purchased it, received the order confirmation and shipping confirmation as well as a tracking number within two hours. Nice.

It is unfortunate since the Gear-Zone website is easy to navigate and their prices (on some products, at least) are competitive.

I have ordered jacket from gear-zone web. Web is really easy to navigate and prices seem to be very good value for money, but.. After the order I have never received email confirmation, 10 days later still noting and no sight of the parcel either. Phoned them early in the morning (9-10) to sort it out, polite lady on the phone told me that order ref I had doesnt match m address or name and that she cant actually see my order said she will have look on system and call me back asap. Waited till after 15:00, as noone called me back, and called again and same lady told me she is busy and she will call me back:/ Called back arond 17:00 and told me that she cant find it and she will leave it for somoone else to sort 1st thing in the morning following day. 11:00 following day still no call. I called myself just to be told by another person that online systems has errors and the product i wanted is out of stock and my order has been cancelled- HOW NICE OF THEM TO LET ME KNOW:/ So I dont think will order from them again.

After phoning up Gear zone about some questions I had about the Leatherman range I chose the wave. It arrived next day and it was well packaged. I am very pleased with the choice I made with the item and the price was the cheapest I could find.I would defiantly recommend this website to friends and family and will be using the website in the near future for my climbing equipment.

I was a bit sceptical seeing these poor reviews, but i noticed that they are from 2007 and the more recent ones were positive. So i ordered a jacket and it arrived within the alloted time they gave. I ordered two more jackets and a pair of boots and everything ran very smoothly. Their prices are cheap and the service waqs very good.

Would recommend.

Will say I am pleased with the service and advice I got from Gear Zone and had no problems with delivery etc..

GearZone had fast delivery, good products, great service. would buy again.

Nothing bad unlike comments made 2-4 years ago i found the service provided by Gear Zone helpful I do a lot of walking with my husband and bought a pair of hiking boots I have no problems and am happy
