As many other reviewers have stated the goods I ordered never arrived and I received a similar string of emails about the merchandise being on "special order". Upon attempting to email the company the email has been returned as undelivered. I have not decided how to pursue this yet.

A recent search for the item I ordered links it to a company called Kapow Gifts, their webstie is identical to that of Electric T-shirts. Are they now trading under a new name?

I PLACED MY ORDER IN JUNE 2013 & PAID FOR IT THEN IN FULL. I APPRECIATE ITEMS CAN BE OUT OF STOCK ETC., HOWEVER I STILL HAD NOTHING IN AUGUST SO DECIDED TO EMAIL & WAS TOLD ITEMS PLACED ON SPECIAL ORDER WHICH CAN TAKE UP TO 21 DAYS OR I COULD HAVE REFUND, DECIDED I WOULD LIKE A REFUND WHICH I AM STILL WAITING ON (23rd oct 2013)

I did order at May... Still haven´t got.

I have wrote them many times, they are sorry...

Items are not in stock.

Now their address is not available anymore.

I can´t find internet address..

Does someone know is there that company anymore?

I lost my money.....

I like to consider myself a savvy shopper, but, when I saw a top for my wife, (and it was the only place that had it in stock), I ordered this without checking up on the company first. As soon as I ordered this, ths status changed from In Stock to Out of Stock and will be re-stocked within 7 days. Still time to get it before I need it I thought. Then I read the reviews. So, I immediately asked for a refund. I received no reply at all within a few days so I went straight to Paypal and opened a Dispute Resolution against the company. This was escalated to a Claim within 2 days due to the information I gave Paypal,(including links to the reviews on here and other sites), and within around 10 days, I received a full refund.

If you paid by Paypal, go through them and get a refund. If you paid by Visa Debit or Credit Card, go through your card issuer to get a refund. If you paid by cheque or cash, then I can't see you getting any of it back unfortunately.

i ordered some stuff for my 15 year old daughter out off her birthday money. we waited a while they didnt come so waited aout a month then requested money back can never get through on the phone so sent lots of emails still no response. so sent another email threatening action. after about 3-4 months finally got a cheque put it in the bank on monday and today guess what the cheque has bounced. i am so angry and disgusted as this was my daughters birthday money all £72.82p. we cant afford this how can they do this. one very angry pxxxed off mother

Looks like I have been done out of my money, no response from telephone calls, emails promise delivery but then no stock - finally today they tell me they have ceased trading.

Should have checked the reviews before I gave them my money. Lesson learned

Like most people on here I ordered before checking if they were any good. They took my money for two bags straight away then sent an email to say one was out of stock. I asked which one and was sent a stock list, after trawling through that i asked them to cancel one of the items which they agreed to and they would refund. Champion one thought until this email arrived-

Dear Customer

Electric T-Shirts Limited ceased trading on the 31st August 2013 and so if you wish to have a refund please ask your bank to reverse this transaction as we cannot do this ourselves. Just give them the details for the order that was placed.

Well happy was I..Not! I paid through pay pal so have opened a dispute and they are awaiting a reply from Electric T Shir(r)ts so with their track record one hopes Pay Pal give me my money back.

Had exactly the same experience with 'goods on backorder' and have been trying since april 2013 to get a refund.

After many attempts to phone / message/ email I eventually got a reply sayiing that a refund could either be by card issuervor cheque then another announcing they had ceased trading and I should contact my card issuer for a refund!!

Glad they are going . . . Total waste of time and effort!

They take your money, even though they don't have your shirt in stock....When you attempt to get a refund, they tell you of bank delays at there end, payment gateway problems etc....I ordered a shirt in may....No shirt, and as yet, no refund.....Beware!!

Have received T Shirt and son was thrilled. Looks to be mde of a good cotton

material. Very satisfied with your service and would use you again.
