Bad Quality Clothes, Awful Return Process
Online clothes shop advertised on Facebook, clicked on website and all clothes looked amazing they looked professional so I bought three dresses. They arrived promptly by Yodel however once opened they were bad quality, terribly stitched and looked like clothes from the market. The returns policy to my dismay was long and a waste of time, after only being able to communicate with them by a ticket system on their website which you have to raise through them, you are unable to call or email them, you have to take pictures of the each time, the product code on each item and outside package and invoice, upload this and then a rickets is raised. You are then sent instructions on returning the item whereby you are told to avoid them incurring tax all returns have to be sent by local delivery not courier and you must lie about the value if the total is usd200 you must stats usd20. When I went to post the items the total costs was 80% cost of all three items I purchased as such it was not worth posting them back. I have raised this with them and they just refer you to their returns policy on their website which has a general statement that the customer has to pay the cost for the return.
I am happy to pay the cost of the return I am not happy that there are stringent rules and processes to follow to return the item which is beneficial for Dezzal so that they do not incur tax. The steps to return are so difficult and costly for the customer which makes me believe they intend this to be the case so that they do not have to process a return.
