After two weeks my order has still not arrived. Chemical Records are not interested in honouring the shipping times quoted on their own site. 1-5 days (quoted) actually means 1-15 days according to what they say in their emails.

These guys are awesome, they ship fast, their prices are really good. The range is amazing. They often offer discounts on a wide range of their stock.

They have a range of items you cannot find anywhere else and being able to buy everything from digital music, to clothes, to dj equipment is so handy. They also have been unbeatable for shipping heavy items internationally. Which often kills a purchase when the shipping is too expensive.

Its worth asking for extra packaging at order time if you have delicate items travelling a long distance. And as always if buying vynal, its important to ask them to leave a note on the package so the delivery people dont leave them in the sun.

Huge range of brands that you can't really find in many other places (HUF, Mishka, etc) unless you ship from the US. They sell a wide variety of things from music (vinyls/mp3s/cds) to clothing and accessories.

New clothes added all the time and sales on frequently. A lot of their clothes can be found elsewhere for a bit cheaper, but if you're buying a few things at once the free shipping when you spend £50 or more makes up for it.

Returning an item I didn't like was easy enough, sent it back with the tags still on (like you're supposed to do!) and they refunded my money as soon as they received it.

Bought some records (8 LPs) from them and the sleeves arrived damaged. Dented corners and creases. Contacted them about it but they claim the shipped the packages using standard shipping materials which was: 1 thin mailing box and 1 piece of cardboard; no bubble wraps or extra cardboards. They refuse to replace the damaged sleeves or compensate for the damages. I bought 2 Limited Editions which had lost value!

Had these monitors since late may of this year, one of them has started buzzing, and ive contacted them and sent them back, they have come back marked from where the delivery people weren't careful and they have told me that they are

Had problems with an interface I purchased from here a few years ago. The company just did not want to assist me in the matter. Luckily I found out later I just needed a driver update.

Recently I purchased an active subwoofer from them. The item became faulty on its fourth use but I did not diagnose the problem to the unit until a few weeks later.

From my first contact with them regarding the issue it took them 3 weeks to replace the faulty unit, plus I had to contact the manufacturer to arrange the warranty cover myself!! (this should be their job)

I did offer for them to credit note me as I wanted some more expensive items as an alternative but they refused!

Terrible service, Incredibily difficult to get hold of there person in charge of service department (Sam) and all round bad experience!

I will not be using them ever again and will make sure all the contacts I know who also buy DJ & Sound equipment know to avoid this company.

I've been a Gibson man for years now and I have to say this is one of the best Music shops I have been in! The staff were incredibly helpful and let me try out a few different models. It had to be the Les Paul Standard in the end!

I would recommend Music Junkie to anyone looking to buy a Guitar great selection in store and the guys are great!

Been struggling to find a replacement cable for my AKG 240 headphones, for a good few months. Which was desperately needed as I am a Sound Artist. Someone found chemicaluk site for me. So pleased they actually had the cable in stock! most companies don't. Ordered Tuesday, received Thursday.
