Customers From Outside Uk Be Aware !!!

Customers from outside UK be aware !!! - I have ordered from Norway on Blackleaf trough the Norwegian domain witch shows prices in local valuta included the norwegian VAT on checkout. - Blackleaf charge this VAT but they don't are registered in the VOEC - index, witch allowes to charge foreign VAT as prepaid service. This is problematic when your parcel goes into your country and getting handled by the customs. Since Blackleaf didn't have a VOEC registration - your local custom service will charge you again your local VAT for the whole amount, included the already prepaid VAT at checkout. Blackleaf so actually earned additional money from you and don't reporting this further to the TAX Authoritys... - The result for you as a foreign customer is a much higher total amount at the end... - Be aware of this treacherous business conduct from this supplyer! - This behavior is already described from other customers here on Trustpilot. Once Blackleaf is faced with this problem - you will not getting any statement or admission to clean this up... - You getting a rude answer and that's it. - All Blackleaf want - is to earn most possible money from you as a foreign customer.

All in all a bad experience - For me only one time - and Good Luck with Brexit...

Don't Order From Canada

Ordered a backpack and flask. Order totaled just over $200 with shipping included. When parcel arrived at post office I had to pay another $55 in duty just to pickup. It would have been cheaper to just buy it here.

Appalling Customer Service!

Some time ago an order was placed via Blackleaf's website for two pairs of trainers. The order arrived swiftly which was great but on inspecting the trainers all was not good.

One pair of trainers had faulty laces. It was clearly a fault but a call was made to the manufacturer themselves to get clarification. They advised to return them as faulty as they were not as manufactured.

Before returning the trainers, we contacted Blackleaf customer service to check how was best to return them as we wanted to return both pairs for separate reasons. They explicitly said to send both together via a recorded means, preferably Royal Mail. We were also informed that a full refund of postage would be received on receipt of the returns. The items were posted back, at a cost of £12.98!!

After some time, the refund for the trainers arrived but nothing for the postage. Several emails to customer services later and there was still no refund or even a response from them.

Almost a month after purchase we finally got an email. It simply stated that the company did not offer a free returns service!

Many more emails went back and forth before Blackleaf finally admitted fault and offered a refund of half the postage. Half! I couldn't believe it!

How can a company say 'yes, return the items and you will receive a full refund of postage costs' suddenly turn around and say 'here's half, accept it and shut up.'

THE CUSTOMER SERVICE RECEIVED FROM THIS COMPANY IS SHOCKING AND IMMORAL.

Faulty Product And Refund Refused By Arrogant Staff

I paid over £30 for a pair of Oakley boardshorts that I purchased from Blackleaf in December 2013. After ONE DAY OF WEAR, the shorts began to tear at the seam. All I had done is walk around in the shorts.

I contacted Blackleaf immediately and was asked to send photos. A considerable email exchange has taken place since and Blackleaf are refusing to refund me insisting that I have somehow 'damaged' the shorts. I have not 'damaged' these shorts at all and it is clear from the photos that this is the case. They clearly have not been snagged on anything. The material around the seam is simply not sufficiently strong to cope with any form of activity.

Boardshorts are supposed to be designed to endure surfing. They were the same size as a pair of Billabong shorts that I have owned for 10 years and are still flawless. They are not supposed to begin tearing at the seam after one day of just walking.

Blackleaf might be good at delivering stuff quickly but they clearly evade any form of responsibility when their products develop a fault. As I have pointed out to them, this is illegal, so I am currently taking legal action against this company.

My advice - there are far better alternatives to Blackleaf (e.g. Shore .co.uk), use one of them instead.

Blackleaf.com Review

Have just received my second order from Blackleaf.com and felt compelled to write a review.

The service on both occasions has been excellent and they dealt with a return for exchange with very little fuss.

Product packaging has been appropriate and in good condition on the two deliveries (both orders have had multiple items). Paperwork has been clear and the name of the person that packed my order was on the delivery note which i thought was a nice personal touch.

Delivery has been quicker than expected, arriving a couple of days early.

The website is really clear and found the filters really easy to use. Stock levels seem good as tehy have had my size each time.

Recommending to friends and family!
