Won A Court Case Against Boohoobaby But Not Received Payment
Without Prejudice.
Here are the facts of our successful court case against Boo Hoo Baby.
• There has been a long standing dispute between BooHooBaby and Gabe and Grace, concerning non-payment of product supplied to BooHooBaby.
• This dispute was taken to The Edinburgh Sheriffs Court and Justice of the Peace Court, where BooHooBaby was issued a summons, on behalf of Gabe & Grace.
• The case was uncontested by BooHooBaby and consequently the court ruled in favour of Gabe & Grace.
• An appointed Sheriff’s Officer visited the premises of BooHooBaby on 27th September, and duly cited BooHooBaby, defenders, to answer the summons. This was followed on 7th October with the issue of the arrestment of the relevant bank account. However, there was insufficient funds in this account, in fact, less than half required to cover the amount stated in the Summons.
We believe that in order to redress the balance and to allow BooHooBaby’s suppliers and customers alike, to make an informed decision, they should be made aware of the truth. Therefore we feel it is in everyone’s interest to go public with the facts of this matter.

Fraudulent Behaviour
I rang to check an item was in stock and they said it was so I ordered and paid and was told next day delivery. Guess what- they didn't have my item and so they said I had been given a refund but didn't give it or answer emails. Eventually I contacted Trading standards and sent a recorded letter under the distance sale of goods act and hey presto- my refund arrived 30 days after I paid.
Beware- they are cheats and liars.

I must say I am really disappointed by the service received from boohoobaby.
We ordered through them due to being a local company to us ( Stirling) and through your guarantee of 1-2 days delivery.
After the payment made and an email sent to us to confirm, this was the last we heard from you, no emails to say order is processing, nothing to say that you were late on dispatch, Ive sent emails with no response, It took me to call and ask to be told that the item would go out for next day, although there had been no contact with the warehouse ( this was 6 days later) I said I would be happy to wait as long as it was out for 10th July, so I gave an additional 4 days for you to get the buggy delivered, yet when i called to make sure on the 9th of July, ther ewas still No contact with the warehouse, I had not been phoned to have this explained, or emailed.
I didnt have a buggy for my daughter as we had got rid of the old one a few days after your Hauck Viper was supposed to arrive. Her birthday was on the 10th and sadly we could not take her out as planned because of their lack of communication.
I do not understand how a company cannot get hold of a Warehouse and it takes over 9/10 days and still no communication with the warehouse or with us?! I do not beleive they actually had the item.
We asked for a refund by email, again there was no communication that email was recieved to confirm this, nor email to say this has been inititated. Ansd we are still waiting!!!
The Worst Company I Have Ever Come Across
This is the worst company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. I ordered a travel system in preparation for the arrival of my first child and the website claimed a “free delivery usually in 7-10 working days”. I received a receipt for payment and confirmation of my order on the same day so all seemed to be going very well.
2 days later I received another email to tell me that my order had been dispatched and that I would be hearing from the courier to arrange a delivery. I received no further contact and the product has never arrived.
I have telephoned BooHooBaby on numerous occasions but have repeatedly been fobbed off by the staff. I have been told that they are waiting to hear from the courier, they are waiting to hear from their warehouse and that their customer service team are extremely busy (with complaints no doubt). On every occasion I have telephoned, I have been promised a call back; no one from BooHooBaby has ever telephoned me!
I have been forced to cancel my order and purchase the item from an alternative supplier, who provided the item within 3 days. The customer service is just as bad now I have cancelled my order and they are dragging their heels to confirm my cancellation and refund my money. Luckily I paid on a credit card and am now seeking the refund of my money through the bank.
Having now read the previous reviews, I anticipate a response from BooHooBaby asking me to contact them to try and resolve the problem. I would not waste any more of my time and money as the telephone number they provide is the same one I have been calling repeatedly with no joy.
Do not give this company any of your hard earned money unless you are prepared to never see the goods you order and then fight for your money back. Believe any positive reviews at your peril...
