Bad Bad Service. Do Not Use This Company!
I ordered a pram, moses basket, moses basket stand, bouncy chair and baby bath.
Ordered 6th Jan. Delivery due 17th Jan. 10th Jan told pram no longer available (even though I had paid for it). And that wouldn't give me another at the same price.
Told on the 17th Jan that delivery of other items would be 6th Feb!
They delivered baby bath, bouncer and 2 x moses basket stands. NO MOSES BASKET! The bath that arrived was filthy, so I asked for a replacement. I have emailed them constantly and keep getting told someone will be in touch. 5 days later no proper response! I sent the 2nd stand back with the driver and all I keep getting is them saying that when the moses BASKET is returned they will send another out. I keep telling them no basket was sent. I have asked constantly for a senior person to get in touch - nothing as of yet. Do not buy from this company, they have zero customer service and EVERYTHING has been a mess. NO good points at all. On top of that when I first placed the order they took 3 times the amount from my account!

I have found there customer service is disgusting at best. I ordered a colour pack for a pram on the 2nd dec was told delivery on the 6th. Then on the 5th an email it will be the 10th. On the 9th an email delivery will now be the 20th. Took a day off work nothing. Phoned up spoke to a guy told me wont be available till march....! No email to tell me it wasnt coming on the 20th nothing...! On the web site the tracking said now available 6th Jan so when was you planning to tell me it will be in march..?, the baby is due mid january. I managed to find a pack on another website £5 more. I asked if as a gesture of good will would you refund me the £24 he said no. Considering how much i have been put out and the fact they haven't left much time to get the goods from somewhere else i think its disgusting and out of order. For the sake of £5 they have alieninated a customer to spread the word of their bad experience and never purchase from them again. If only i checked out other web sites for reviews instead of this one i would have stayed well clear. Even there facebook site has customers complaining so Please think hard before ordering from this site.

Poor Customer Service
Poor customer service. Great produce at great price, but if anything goes wrong don't expect it to be rectified. Returned faulty wheel unit within warranty to be sent a document on how to fit them... Hum, they were fine for 10 months and then became loose and faulty, I think I know how to fit them! The wheels have been returned to me and I've been asked to video the ploblem... If they had compared a new set with my wheel unit they would easily see the difference, my connection bar wobbles, it does not wobble on a new set! I tried it today at mothercare! Buyer beware, would not recommend because if anything goes wrong you will receive poor customer service and be left with faulty item and a video request...

Don't Waste Your Time/money
Got a good price on Mamaroo rocker. Ordered it, paid, delivery arranged, one of us took time off work to be in to receive it. On delivery day the order status said nothing about it being despatched. Called them, useless customer service chap (Scott) just took everything I was complaining about, but annoyingly just agreed with everything I was saying and got someone else to call me back instead. Received a call telling me that it "might be in stock" in December and that I was in fact in a queue of waiting customers who ordered in September. Not at any point were we told there'd be a delay. Useless. Use a reputed company and pay the right money.

I ordered a beautiful cot from Bambino Direct. It arrived on the date expected, fab, however the parcels were filthy, ripped and the contents damaged. It took an age to get a returns approval, an age for the company to collect. This was bad enough; but the replacement took 5 separate attempts to be delivered. The sales assistants blatantly lied to me on two occasions saying the replacement was en route for the agreed dates, only to be told by the couriers that they had no record of such parcels. I had to take 4 separate days off of work to await delivery, only to be told it was other either lost or non existent. I lost earnings as I am self employed, not to mention the increase in both my mobile phone bill and landline phone bill calling an 08 number to chase the deliveries up. When I claimed for loss of earnings they took weeks to reply, and simply said that they cannot compensate for forces beyond their control and that because i did not specify a date for delivery they were not liable! This is ridiculous as I simply wanted delivery of of the goods that I had already paid for, and so with each failure to deliver I had to take the next available delivery date, which would again materialise to be another wasted day! How is it possible for such a huge online company to behave so unprofessionally with no thought for the undue stress on a member of their target demographic, a pregnant woman!? Blatant lies and disregard of the consumer. I truly thought I had been duped out of my money. The replacement that eventually turned up had marks and dinks on it and looked like a reject also. I just could not bare another 8 weeks of anxiety and disappointment in tying to return it for a refund. Unbelievably bad company. Never had any issues with Mothercare, Amazon, Next etc and I have recently ordered a highchair from online4baby, the delivery turned up exactly when stated, within the hours slot specified; fantastic service. I would never use, recommend Bambino Direct ever again; these companies should be answerable to someone but sadly not.

Avoid!! Bad Customer Service, Terrible Returns System
I bought from BambinoDirect having found an item I wanted cheaper than anywhere else. In excitement I placed the order and found that I needed to spend over a certain amount for free delivery.
I then decided to have a quick look around the site to find something else I wanted but there was nothing. As the weather was really hot at the time and paddling pools were selling like hot cakes, I decided to buy one to get the price over the amount needed. The paddling pool was on offer with 50% off. It was £100 and now £49.99. Stupidly not checking other websites I thought as the other item I bought was a really good price then this was probably a steal as well at 50% off.
I received my items ok and they arrived in a fair time period, but to my disappointment the original item I wanted was missing parts from the sealed box. I contacted the company via their website contact forms for a replacement. It took ages for them to reply and in the meantime I had to send a second message to get a replacement order under way.
I sent back my item and had to wait ages for a replacement to be sent back out to me. Once I had received the item I found it had been undone to check that the part that was missing in the previous order was in the box, i'm hoping they were checking so I didn't have a second issue and not because they are a very mistrusting company.
Also the paddling pool I ordered did not include any form of inflation device which meant I would need to pay extra. I then decided to return that item as well as I didn't want to pay more out on an inflator.
When I asked to return the item due to this reason they wanted me to pay for the return of the item and have it sent back by recorded courier which would be really expensive, seeing as it was not my fault, I shouldn't have to pay for return costs.
I then decided to check out a few websites for other paddling pools, and to my digust I found the exact same pool priced at £14.99 in no sale. I then realised that this company uses tactics like saying an item has 50% off to make you think you are getting a bargain, but you are actually paying more than the item is worth. I realise it was my fault that I did not research better before buying the item or buying from this company, but I find it hard to believe a company can get away with stating an item was £100 with 50% off, when the item actually only costs a fraction of the price anyway.
I think it is a very nasty tactic, and I think the company is appauling.
As said in the title, customer service is useless, you have to wait ages to get a response from them if you use their web form, or else you have to pay premium rate for their telephone number to speak with someone.
Returns is a joke as you have to pay for item that are so heavy they will cost you an arm and a leg.
And some of their items seem to have a hefty price tag compared to other websites, SO BEWARE!!!!

Do Not Deal With This Company!
The worst customer experience I have ever had the mid fortune of receiving. I ordered the tutti bambini 7 piece barcelona nursery set on the 03/07/13. I received an email confirmation of my order the same day stating a delivery date of the 19/07/13 and payment was taken from my account. On the 08/07/13 after taking a days annual leave to reciept the delivery on the 19/07/13, I called bambino direct to request a time of delivery. Only to be advised that the set was no longer due on the 19/07/13 and that a customer service representative would call me back with a delivery date. I called on the 08/07/13 and 09/07/13 as I had not received the promised call back only o be advised that the delivery date was now mid August and that it was not possible to provide me with a definite delivery date and if I wanted one it was suggested that I call tutti bambini direct. I had stated that my contract was not with the manufacturer direct but with bamino direct and that payment had been taken. I also advised that as my baby is due within the next few weeks that I was unable to wait until mid August. The customer service representative that I had spoken to - Asif. Had advised that there was nothing he or the bambino direct could do to help and when I questioned what support was avaliable to me as a customer he responded by saying that it wasn't his fault and again that I should contact the manufacturer directly. I was left feeling extremely upset and saddened by this complete lack of compassion or customer service. I was advised by Asif that there was no senior management to speak with and was passed through l several differing departments including the sales team with no avail. Asif also commented when I asked if this was the standard level of service that bamino direct aim to deliver for their customers he responded in an extremely negative manner stating that itwas my choice to make a complaint. I will be ensuring that I make every new or existing parent that I know of this terrible customer service and lack of professionalism shown by bambino direct and have already posted on several mainstream forums warning others of this. I have since emailed to cancel my order as I am not willing to deal with such a company.
I work within retail myself and I am shocked and oustanded at the complete lack of customer satisfaction and willingness to ensure customers are provided with not only the goods that they have ordered but also paid for. I have also contacted trading standards and have logged a complaint.

Delayed Delivery,missing Items From Order &refusal To Refund
I bought a Mcqueen toddler bed and mattress for my son's birthday in April which was due for delivery early May. The mattress got delivered without a problem. I got an email to say bed will be delivered on 18/05/2013. Was advised that the courier company would phone a day before to agree a time slot. i did not get a phone call from courier neither was the bed delivered.I phoned Bambino direct on Monday who apologised and advised delivery would be done on saturday 26/05/13 and courier company would phone to agree time slot. Again there was no phone call from courier but they turned with the bed on saturday. On inspection i discovered there was a missing box and refused to take delivery of the bed. I have been phoning and emailing ever since to get reimbursed without much success. i got reimbursed strangely enough for the mattress (£69.99) which had been delivered but not the bed costing £179.00. I have had to refer the issue to my credit card company as i am not getting anywhere with Bambino. Will never use again.

Beware - No Customer Service At All - Just Want Your Money
i brought a cath kidston pushchair i received confirmation e mail and the money was taken - 3 days later i checked my status and the item was not dispatched - as no payment was received . I had to take time off work to argue they check only to find that they were wrong the payment had been taken - its a premium rate call and the customer service attitude was whats the problem - i nearly paid twice and they were not in a slightest interested .Still no pushchair just a hole in my bank balance after being told to e message a complaint - i am now told to write - more time for incompetence . but i will write as its disgusting service i shall post this review every where to warn people of there manner .

Payment Taken Without Permission
I ordered a wooden baby high chair which came with a free beige seat cover. I received an e mail from Bambino saying that beige cover was out of stock and would I like pink or blue instead (the email did not say there would be any extra payment). I ordered pink. I have just checked my credit card account and found that the company took £16,97 without my permission.
I tried phoning but was left holding the phone on a premium rate call.
I shall be taking this further!
