No check of whether goods are in working order before being sent out. No one answers the phone, no one answers emails without making a song and dance. Have to say the worst company in terms of customer care. There appears to be a good selection on a well designed website but the company just cannot cope. I won't be ordering from them again

Placed an order on 1/09/2014. Money immediately taken from credit card, delivery option chosen Express: 2-4 working days. No despatch confirmation received so started chasing on 16/10/2014. Customer service contact Glen advised me that delivery wasn't yet late and they had moved expedition warehouse to a new building and a new city. ( Impressed if they could do one without the other)

I advised that the shopping card still showed the ordered items and I had found NO way of removing then. so IF I ordered again, guess what - I'd get the self same items from my first order. Glen's answer(s) were so pathetic as to be laughable. if you think I'm exaggerating ;->

our website is not the best & either works perfectly or is beset with problems. The only way our customers with these issues get past it, is by persistent attempts to place an order. It is something we are working on, but as yet have found no permanent solutions. Currently I do not see any orders under the email address you are using here.

Admission that their e-commerce system doesn't work and their website isn't 'the best'

At this point out of the blue I get an email from alexandalexa: ->

In regards to your issue in placing an order with us, we have recently experienced an issue with our servers that made ordering difficult for some of our customers and I am sorry for the frustration this has caused.

However this issue now seem to have been successfully amended and customers experiencing similar issues as yourself have now successfully placed an order. ( reviewer's note: It has NOT been resolved)

Regarding the experiences you have had with us I would more than understand any hesitation in placing an order with us. I have issued a personal gift voucher that you may redeem against a future order in order to apologise for the disappointment and inconvenience caused.

Nice but no cigar, and despite three further prods in their direction they cannot be bothered to reply as to the status of my order. It still hasn't be despatched, I have cancelled the order and am awaiting a confirmation and credit.

To be honest I'm not holding my breath.

Irrespective IF I get a refund I'd like to warn potential customers of my experience, which has been nothing short of shambolic. I will never ever even consider using them again, had I researched other customers reviews on the web I'd have saved my time.

Lastly, any similarity in the style of alexandalexa's website to rather larger and more well known clothing retailers seems intentional, but is illusory when an order is placed!
