I have emailed time and time again and they won't get back to me.

Rodsurmman. I totally agree with you. Its Peter Bradley himself writing his own review. Thats how smart he thinks he is.

There are other reviews about him on this website. Watchdog and Trading Standards must deal with this man. His other name is NIGEL! A FAKE NAME

There are more reviews under this trading name findapart on this same website.

I do not believe this is a genuine independent review. The wording and description are virtually the same as one of the first reviews written on this site about FindapartUK. This Leopard cannot change its spots so easily so I think Peter Bradley is writing these himself.

He has a limited number of excuses and reviews to offer people so he can continue to take their money without supplying anything at all. Do not trust this review. It's Peter Bradley marking his own homework.

Elusive Car Parts

Awaited 8 months , for car engine, with no results, from Find a Part/ Find a BMW Engine, in Norwich, although my visa card debited, on 4th December last year !!, they had numerous troubles, with flooding ,insurance, non delivery, then alleged water damage, then a family tragedy, but many blanked emails and non responding to calls now 8 months later ,---- here we are , with no parts, and no refund !!, so I have had to contact my bank ?card provider, to raise a debit card dispute, enclosing all emails, to, and from, this company ! It was the last thing I wanted, as I thought the deal was all in good faith , with them, in Norwich, but obviously , actions speak louder than words, and after 8 months, of a negative result, I think I,ve been "more", than reasonable with them, so I cannot , recommend this company, as the service, has been all but non existent. I have been sympathetic and courteous at all times with the late peter , and his son , but even so, the service has been nothing short of appalling, not even to mention, ignoring the fact that I,ve requested my refund on emails and phone calls, as they said , the engine wasn,t going to arrive, as they could no longer source it !!!!. called yesterday to be greeted by another voice mail , and no email replies, not surprisingly by now, so no parts and no refund as of this date, 4/8/2014.

TRUST ME THE LATE PETER BRADLEY IS STILL ALIVE AND KICKING , HE STOLE FUNDS OFF ME FOR A DEPOSIT FOR AN ENGINE JAN14TH 2015,WITH NO ENGINE AND NO REFUND I WENT TO ACTION FRAUD ON LINE. HE THEN EMAILED ME THAT HE WOULD REFUND ME IF I GAVE HIM THE DETAILS OF MY FRAUD APPLICATION AND DROP THE CHARGE. WHEN I REFUSED AND TOLD HIM WITH NO PRODUCT AND HIM KEEPING MY MONEY IT IS FRAUD.

EVERYBODY SHOULD REPORT HIM TO ACTION FRAUD. THE MORE THAT DO THE MORE HE WILL BE INVESTIGATED.

They are evil and why did you say the late Peter? Peter Bradley is still alive. I am dealing with him now as I speak, He too £995 from my account few days ago and now turning me all around the place. You should contact trading Standard and the Police. He needs to be dealt with and stopped before there is another victim. How can he be so evil and not being considerate that people are working hard for their cash. i have four children and there comes to reap you off

The Company Findapart Uk Cannot Be Trusted To Supp

The company FindAPart UK cannot be trusted to supply car parts regardless of what they say to draw you into the deal.

After an enquiry in December 2012 for a rare-ish replacement engine and gearbox for a car rebuild, FindAPartUK responded confidently that they would be able to supply a 'completely reconditioned unit from Japan' in 6 weeks. Everything seemed remarkably straightforward, considering other suppliers were pessimistic, but I had no reason to doubt them so I went ahead and placed my order.

After making a downpayment of £850.00, I waited 8 weeks in the hope of receiving a phone call to say the engine and gearbox had arrived and would be taken to an address of my choice - as per the T&Cs.

Each time I phoned FindAPartUK the guy at the other end struggled to remember who I was and what I had ordered and didn't seem concerned that the engine was already two weeks late. Further discussion seemed to indicate that he would try and find out when the delivery would take place but would not commit to any timescale. Several weeks of phone calls, each time with me having to remind customer service who I was, finally led to a statement from the importer engaged by FindAPartUK that the engine from Japan hadn't been put on a ship until late in March and would not arrive now until July. I had gone from 6 weeks delivery to 6 months! I was now getting skeptical and wondered whether the company was simply a front for getting money off people.

July came and I was told the engine was in Southampton Docks, Felixstowe Docks, stuck in customs and finally in a container in Birmingham. Weeks past without any news for which, with continuous calling, I started finding it increasingly difficult to get through to the so-called 'customer service' of FindAPartUK. I did finally extract the telephone number of the importer from them and discovered to my horror that there was no engine anywhere - it had never been put on any ship and was definitely not in a container in Birmingham. I managed to find this out with one single phone call to the supplier but FindAPartUK could not find this out for me. To cap it all, the engine wasn't coming from Japan but Pakistan and there was hardly any chance that it was going to be 'completely reconditioned'. Bah! I had beed duped!

Reporting what the actual importer had told me back to FindAPartUK, there was no apology but a statement that they had been lied to by their supplier and would try to get the engine from somewhere else. More delays (now September), I asked for my money back but I was finding it nearly impossible to get through to 'customer service'. After an acknowledgement E-mail stating that my £850 would be returned (now January 2014), getting through to FindAPart was next to impossible. I received occasional E-mails giving me reasons why the return of my deposit would be delayed. I called the customer service number so regularly, they knew my number and knew not to pick up. I discovered this because minutes after being passed yet again to the answering machine, I then called from a number I had not used before and they picked up straight away. The guy on the other end seemed rather embarrassed and claimed to be the son of the usual guy I spoke to even though the voice was similar. Needless to say, he didn't know anything about my case but 'was going to tell his father' to call me; nothing happened - as usual.

Finally, I lost my patience when the bloke I dealt with sent me an E-mail stating that he had been taken seriously ill and that he would sort this out 'when he felt better' whenever that would be. Great! I had been given the runaround for a year, wasted hours on phone calls and E-mails and I was now sure that they simply wanted to take my deposit! Unbelievable! What kind of company is this?

The people running FindAPartUK don't care about the customer. They only make contact with you to draw you in and when things get problematic, they just want you to go away. I lost much more money than £850 along with my credibility since the car rebuild was put on hold for a year and I was paying to run other cars and garage storage through no fault of my own.

DO NOT TRUST FINDAPARTUK. THEY DON'T DESERVE YOUR BUSINESS AND YOU WILL BE LEFT HIGH AND DRY BY TERMS AND CONDITIONS WHICH MEAN THAT THE CUSTOMER TAKES ALL THE RISK. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Do Not Order From This Company - *** Read My Review ***

This is my honest experience of a dreadful company findapartuk.com who I used to source an engine in JAN 2013. My motivation in writing this is purely to stop people buying from this company and being caught out financially

I enquired about an engine which they went and sourced from an engine company in Paisley Scotland. During the time I considered their price I received e mails saying they had someone else interested in the engine in order to pressure me into the sale. I realised what they were doing but I needed an engine so placed my order with them on the phone – very easy to get hold of him when they wanted a sale but afterwards impossible

The engine arrived and my mechanic was concerned that it had been stripped and cleaned and was a totally bare engine and on examination the engine codes had been ground off with an angle grinder. Checks with the Police showed it wasn’t a stolen engine so no offences however I was advised to steer well clear of it. I sent it back to Scotland and after a battle got a refund.

Findapartuk.com refused to give me a £200 refund of their fee and hid behind their terms and conditions saying it was a finders fee and many many other excuses. They think by agreeing to their terms at point of sale you forfeit all your consumer rights! - This went on for months and months and they eventually agreed to refund me the cash. It never happened. I’ve had promises of calls that will be returned and never happens, false promises of a refund, - any tactic to avoid paying the fee. 9 months later I still have no fee.

When I called them they claim whoever you want is not in the office but out in the yard busy – This company think they are bigger than they are ! – They are a small internet company and dishonest. I have spoken to people purporting to be different.

In recent months I decided to commence legal action – All of my e mails to this company are now being ignored. I am a professional researcher and it didn’t take long to find this company’s history. Their website Findapartuk.com is also being run as Findabmwengineuk.com and probably many other variations. BMW website was registered in 2010 as a domain name.

These companies advertise on their website that they are based at Whitefriars House, Norwich, NR31SE which is UNTRUE. Letters are returned as not known at this address. Their website shows a picture of a fictitious business premises.

Checks on192.com show that the sales number for this company is registered to FISHERGATE , NORWICH and this is a 2 bedroom flat which street view shows is on the canal side. The owner of the property I believe he is the director of Findapartuk.com and I have spoken to a man who claims to be his son running the business on behalf of his father.

At this address has THREE recent UNPAID County Court Judgements filed at NORTHAMPTON CCBC all from 2010 for amounts of £3646 / £175 and £2107 – His flat at FISHERGATE was purchased for £168’500 on 30/11/2006. Case numbers for these CCJ’s are 0XW62077 / 0QA09505 and 0QA01537

So to anyone reading this – My advice is do NOT use this company despite how persuasive they may be – If there are any problems you will NOT get your cash back – They are operating from a flat claiming to be a big company , Clearly other people have taken them to court and won their cases but he has not paid these debts.

I intend to send them a copy of this review by post in order to be open and transparent and to assure them that I will post this on as many sites as I can find and will also be passing to Norwich Council for attention of their trading standards and to establish if findapartuk, com have declared this business being run from this address to their insurance company and other such bodies.

I hope you find my review helpful and that it saves you cash .
