E-parts Probably The Worst On-line Ordering Experience Ever!

OK so my car failed its MOT on Wednesday 27th May due to a broken rear coil spring.

So, knowing what was needed I went straight onto a well known auction site and searched for it. A few sellers had the item but the cheapest was e-parts based in Cheltenham.

1) I went to ask a question through the site...but no option existed

2) I emailed them from the email address listed...but that bounced back

3) Tried to call them and the call went to voicemail where the box was full

Eventually on Thurs 28th after 30+ calls the phone was answered by a lady named Monika at 3pm. She took my order and advised it would not be despatched that day, or indeed Friday, but that it would be on Monday 1st June to be with me Tuesday 2nd.

I wasn't working Mon 1st and waited in on the off chance, I took Tuesday 2nd off as leave and waited in. Suspecting something was wrong I called through and was eventually answered (after again 30+ attempts). The lady spoken to advised me of the parcel number but the royal mail tracking site was down. When it eventually came up there were no updates excepting that they expected to collect it at 5.33 on 1st June (called 'pre-advice). Waited in 2nd June, no delivery made

Wed 3rd, tried in vain to contact the company by phone, but once again multiple calls without being answered (60 on my mobile alone as it advises of those). I resorted to a google search to find any alternative number without success, I did however find 4 email addresses which I emailed, there were no failures so they are all live.

Eventually I got through to a lady at 1.30 and advised her of the problems and she promised to call me back, confirmed my phone number. I then waited in for the call that never came ensuring I stayed off the phone and using my mobile instead.

I have this morning replied to the blanket email sent yesterday asking for some decent customer care....I'll not hold my breath

As you may know I have 10 working days between an MOT fail and a half price retest, that expires on Tuesday 10th.

I have had to cancel my mechanic fitting the springs for today and also the MOT retest I had booked for Friday 5th.

What I would like to call abysmal customer care.
