Typical Audi A5 automatic gear box, broke. AAA a bit far for us but did a good job getting the car back on the road. Still under warranty and returning for inspections. So far so good. Crappy Audi gearboxes good job there are people like AAA to fix it and offer a excellent service.

My automatic caddy had a gear box problem and I had to replace it.so I approached him and he gave me a competitive price and I decided to replace it with a new gear box.unfortunately two months later again some noice developed from the front and I took it to a local garage and he suspects it comes from the gear box.

So the first thing came to my mind is AAA gear box service. I send him a text explaining him about what the local garage guy told me. He did not respond and the following morning I rang him several times and at the end he returned my call. He told me straight away to go to the VW garage even with out listening me. I told him just to have a look and see if it is a gear box problem. He is not willing to do it saying " I don't want to waiste my time". I wonder if it his duty of care. I would never go to him again. I spent more than £4000.00 two months ago. His behaviour is unacceptable, arrogant.

I had taken my car for electrical repair. My car would not start. The car was fixed which was good but I was charged £270 for no explanation of what had been done to the car. The owner discriminates against his own people as he is Pakistani himself, and does not like his own kind for a simple money issue when charging customers for a job. Anyone will try to get a good price regardless of anything.

Its extremely sick for this guy to be treating people as if they're nothing. I wasn't bothered about the price but for what he had done with my car that bothered me a lot, he states spending 10 hours on my car but no parts were replaced and picked up the car very next morning. All he said was, i cleaned the terminals and something was wrong with your ignition and didn't even replace any parts or state in clear plain English.

My car now is in the same state but i have spoken to this guy and he will not allow me to bring the car to him as he knew what was wrong with it. I will take this guy to court and also have trading standards involved for not being fair and charging me for something which has not been explained to me properly.

If anyone wants a job doing then please see reviews before even considering this guy thank you

Everything I experienced about AAAGearboxes was 10/10, I had visited 4 garages previous to finding Husaain. All 4 garages including a VW main dealer failed to exactly pinpoint the issue.

After Hussain's diagnostic exams he diagnosed that although the issue was manifesting through the gearbox, it was in fact an engine management problem, where others were recommending me to have costly gearbox repairs Hussain recommended a few inexpensive engine tweaks that have fixed the problem.

Fantastic work on my AUDI A5 , Very honest guy .. Called couple of places to have my gearbox fixed and i was alarmed at the price i was told and they didnt even tell me anything tangible only buying a new gearbox, about to give up on my car ... I came across AAA Gearbox and we spoke over the phone , when i explained to him what happened to the car and what he told me afterwards I knew he definitely knows what he is saying and doing , had my car towed from Chatham to Nottingham to his garage for repairs and very affordable price .. I WOULD RECCOMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE, THE SERVICE IS FIRST CLASS AND THE ATER SERVICE IS EXCELLENT. THE PRICE FOR THE WORK CANNOT BE BEAT. I WOULD RECOMEND AAA GEARBOXES TO ANYONE WHO HAS ANY GEARBOX PROBLEMS.

Took my BMW X5 to AAA gearboxes after the common X5 transmission failure. i chose these due to them being close and their competitive price. they diagnosed it free of charge with no obligation to have the work done. they had the car for around 4 days. when i picked the car up i was over joyed and would use them again in a heart beat.

Took my Volvo to dealers because there was a grinding noise when turning & knocking noise when driving over speed ramps, any way dealers had my Car for 2 days and eventually they rang me and said change the gearbox oil it might cure the grinding noise, so I said ok, they changed it and said the noise is better now but still there ? Then said I need to replace gearbox (£6000) yeh right . I paid them £165 for changing gearbox oil and diagnostic . I went to AAA gearboxes and left the car with them, next day they rang me and said gearbox is fine and the problem is driveshafts and engine mounting, just a little different from gearbox. Cost £300 to recon driveshaft (5day)and £60 for engine mounting, labour cost £120 . Very disappointed with Marshall Volvo nottingham from start to finish. AAA gearbox 10 star service, great advice, talking sense, I would recommend AAA to everyone. Saleem
