Trusted Dealers - Great Experience
I was looking for a second hand car and came across Trusted Dealers website. It was really easy to use and search for a specific make and model and came up with lots of cars to look at and sort by location and price which I found particularly useful. I could also email the garage with an enquiry - fabulous. Got a great deal on a used Fiesta.

Not A Bad Site
Nothing like as much choice as you get on autotrader or motors but at least its a decent selection of reputatble dealers and not just backstreet chancers. wasn't the fastest site i've used and it doesnt have all the features youd like like shortlisting and comparing but there were some really good cars and it helped me to find a decent ford focus at a reasonable price. So its not a bad site and maybe not a great site.

All The Cars From All The Big Dealers In One Place :-)
One thing I've always hated is searching for cars and I'm a petrolhead!
The big problem for me has always been having to trawl through different sites to find the same type of car. TrustedDealers solves all of that!
Basically the way it works is, you search for a car using the site's search criteria and hey presto! All the available cars in their network show up.
What I really like about the site is that the information on each car is very comprehensive.
I'm also reassured by their 'Ten Point Difference' - essentially a huge quality guarantee which ensures they don't sell you a lemon.
The dealers I called were all friendly and helpful. I like to be treated well when I'm spending that sort of money!
Definitely gets a recommend from me!

Great Price Reduction Info
Once I'd decided to go for a BMW 3 Series I was concerned that I wouldn't get a good price. I tried lots of big car websites but came across BMW deals from trusteddealers.co.uk which wasn't the largest selection of cars online but guided me really well in initial car searches but also with price reduction information on both their website and via Twitter.com. By being alerted on the largest price reductions on BMWs I felt that I would never miss out on the best deals from the major UK car dealers. Knowing that the dealers that publish their cars on this website have to adhere to a set of standards (as well as any other approved used schemes that they might be endorsing through their franchised arrangements) also gave me the confidence in getting in touch with a couple of BMW dealers through this site.

A Little Bit Different
Cars have always been one of the things I've never been entirely happy about shopping online for. Firstly, I think it's pretty important to actually see that a car is real. My cousin was once the victim of a scam whereby a car advertised on a website wasn't actually real. I don't recall exactly what the scam was, but they took a £500 deposit and were gone.
For that reason, things like Gumtree and eBay and most of the car websites make me a bit uneasy as they have cars from private sellers and small traders. Maybe wrongly, that always makes me uneasy because I don't really know enough about cars to know exactly what I'm buying.
In effect, I'm prepared to pay a little bit extra for my cars and until my most recent purchase (a Toyota Yaris) I've generally just bought from a big local dealership that I know by reputation.
That's what I liked about Trusted Dealers - it only had cars from big dealerships. On the one hand that means less choice and also slightly higher prices than you might get on other sites. On the other hand, for someone like me it was ideal to know that at least the people I would be buying from would be reputable and be big enough to properly deal with any complaints.
Anyway, the site was much of a muchness - like most car websites are I suppose, but I found a car I wanted within my budget and not too far away so the job was done and dusted with all the ease I could wish for.
As I say - not the most choice, and not the cheapest site, but probably a safer option if you're not too au fait with the ins and outs of buying a car.
