PICTURES INCLUDED In summer 2010, I purchased a suzuki cappuccino from slick rides as my very first car. Beforehand I was assured the little Japanese kei convertible was in good condition for its age, some spots had been recently professionally welded and it was now good to go for years to come. I made the trip down to Heston (which is a very long way for me) to be greeted by super friendly (at first) manager from Slick Rides. The car looked decent at first glance and the ride was pretty good, it had a fresh MOT with no advisory issues/defects listed. In love and naive as I was I bought the car for £2990.00, a costly sum for a 15 year old small suzuki and a lot of money to me. I stayed in a motel for the night to pick up and take the car back home with me the next day. The manager helped me with tax and insurance and after a long wait (one of the headlight bulbs needed to be replaced) I drove the car home with a smile, and the day after I planned to give it a good clean inside and out and took the seats and carpet out, a small job to get in every nook and cranny. It shocked me to find this kind of rust in the car I just drove hundreds of miles in. On a ramp I found the subframe mounting points severely rotten HOW COULD THIS HAVE PASSED MOT?!?!?!? Not to mention all the other rust, rotten suspension arms, dodgy handbrake lines, leaking dampers, holes, filler, glued on plastic and metal plates I found later on.

Needless to say I didn't drive the car since IT IS A COMPLETE DEATHTRAP. I contacted Slick Rides only to get vague and aggressive replies. I was completely hopeless having saved up for so long only to get ripped off like this. I couldn't safely drive the car back in this condition, and having it trailered would be very expensive and a risk as I didn't know how I would be greeted upon arival this time, thinking the manager probably wouldn't be as friendly...

All in all the car caused a lot of grief in my family with offers of bringing the car back to Slick Rides that didn't work out. As a result I haven't been able to afford a car for a very long time. After 1.5 years it's now still sitting in my dad's garage looking sorry for itself. It still saddens me to bits. I don't know what to do with it. If the manager reads this, or anyone else from slick rides, and have any decency in your bones you'd pay me back in full and deeply appologize. Knowing this probably won't happen I advise anyone interested in a car for sale at Slick Rides Heston to steer clear and save yourself a lot of grief. As far as I'm concerned they are criminals, I could have died in this thing.

Not sure about the other reviews on here. I had an excellent service from Slick rides, Its clearly a family or small business and they offer a care of service that is good compared to the main car dealership. They seem to value their customers and I recommend them. I am looking to buy a car from my wife for them soon too.

I bought my car in October 2008. I was so upset and still in 2011 trying to write something somewhere or to do something so that people don't get trapped by them.

I bought my car and they kept me waiting for 2 weeks with that understanding that they are doing the servicing. The day of delevary, they were very busy and lots of rubbish and got to go to meeting..............

So, what I had found is......Fuel tank lead does not close(Broken), They have taken off the CD player, No antina, NO SERVICING been done(Engine oli looked like crude oil), I had to change my tyers and clutch within month. I probably end up spending another 1500 pounds.

I tried to contact them, did not answer from my phone and tried to call from other numbers and pick up stright way and then as you expect............bUSY. I will never forget the attitude.........

We believe that we life in a civilized country, why do we let this people do so called business and let people suffer.

Like the genuine reviews state clearly, DO NOT BUY!

I bough an Audi A3 last year for £5200.00 and spent nearly £2000 on repairs! When taken back, was heavily argued there were unaware of the faults (cam shaft etc) which the audi mechanic said it had been clearly 'tweaked' to seem like its fine!

I liked nothing about the operation, Yes my fault I was exited to see a great price on a great car, but goes to show, If something seems too good to be true, it usually is!!!

ONCE AGAIN, A COWBOY COMPANY; DO NOT BUY FROM THEM... IF YOU DO - IT WILL BE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Despite how they may present themselves online, these people sell poorly repaired damaged cars. (they seem to buy them at auction)I happened to wittness how they were working on 2 young bmw's, damaged rusted spots are not treated, just filled with bondo. The paintwork they do in the open shed is an absolute joke and they do not seem to have any expertise whatsoever at how to properly repair structural damage. So you'll be at high risk of buying an unsafe vehicle. I've checked a lot of the cars on their spot and was amazed at how quite a few of them recently miraculously passed MOT while they obviously should not have passed MOT at all. To anyone who doesn't know a thing or two about cars I advice not to buy a car from Slick Rides. It was a waste of my time, and I feel ashamed practices like this can exist in our 'civilised' country.

BE AWARE! Slick Rides Mario is a dirty crook, he will be very nice to you and promise you the world. But after you've bought a car from him he will do nothing for you. The car I bought turned out to be a written off wreck that had only been done up cosmetically. A friend mechanic told me the technical condition was potentially lethal. Goes to show that a recent MOT means nothing, he must have just payed the station to pass it. After wanting to return the car I was cursed at over the phone, and he pretended not to be Mario. I feel absolutely awfull, how I could have trusted this man. I honestly do not undertand how there could be any positive ratings for SLICK RIDES, I highly suspect that the positive reviews are fake!!!! The car is now undriven and parked away. I still want my money back Mario

I love my Mini which I purchased from Slick Rides. Its very good car and I love it.... I was not sure about some bad reviews on this site but I had good experience. [name removed] is an honest person... highly recommended

I purchased BMW 320 coupe 2007 model from Mario of Slick Rides. Being very honest I am quite happy to purchase this car which is given with HPI report and full service history. I checked the 60 miles radius before I chose Slick Rides. Its second month after the purchase so I decided to contribute my personal experience to others. on the basis of my experience I will highly recommend Slick Rides to others. A++++++
