Time Wasters
They travelled a very long way to buy a van which had a average number of miles on the clock and expected it to be pristine without a mark and even though it had a few scratches they didn't even negotiate and just went. Very odd situation and the way the boss spoke with his guy who came, was a disgrace, on the phone literally yelling down the phone I could hear it all. He was clearly the dictator but seems to have a strange way to do business as I was open to negotiate but they didn't even attempt the guy was just relaying what the "boss" said. Just a waste of time for everyone and must have cost them a fortune to travel it. Just buggers belief

'i Can't Believe The Office Offered You That Much!"
Positives:
They replied really quickly to my email enquiry
They came out on the day we agreed
They called ahead to give notice they were coming
They were positive communicative guys
Negatives:
After checking out the vehicle, and agreeing it was in the exact condition described, hand over to second guy
He says 'I just cant believe the office have offered you this much, it must be a mistake'
Says he picked up one just like this yesterday, exactly same age, loads less miles, leather seats (not cloth) for same price, so this must be mistake from head office
Calls office, 'cant get hold of the guy who quoted' says max he can offer is 20% less than quoted, their mistake
I say no, we shake hands, he leaves
10 minutes later door bell rings, one of the other guys is back, offering a low price again, but not quite as low as the last one, I say no, as other quotes higher than that, they leave again

Back In November I Checked Out A Number Of Website
Back in November I checked out a number of websites in order to gain a valuation for my second hand van and then hopefully to sell it on to one of them. The response was fast from all of them once I had completed the online form. Sell Us Your Van came back with the highest offer. Although it was still slightly lower than I had hoped some of the other sites offered considerably less so I replied to sell us your van to say I accepted the offer and would like to proceed to the next stage. I heard no more so on 6th Dec I telephoned to enquire as to when a representative would come to view and buy my van. On the telephone the gentleman appologised for delay, contacted head office on my behalf and I received an email to say they were 10 days behind due to bad weather. I then received a private offer for the van which I declined believing I had commited to sell us your van. It is now 4th Jan, my tax and MOT are nearly out, I've received no reply to my last email, no appology or explanation and am still waiting for thr rep. Today I sold my van privately but had to accept a lower price as MOT is up in few days. Its all very well sucking people in with a reasonable, competitive offer in the first place but its of absolutely no use if the rest of the team cannot follow up. I do find it amusing that on their home page they make a statement that by using them you can alleviate all the stress of selling privately and having time wasters not turn up!
hi there we had the same problem only a couple of weeks ago with them ,my husband asked for a quote they emailed straight back ,my husband proceeded and pressed sell my van and submit within minutes we received a reply saying we can purchase your van tomorrow a representative will call in the morning .and yes they called asked if they could purchase van that day and would be there for 1.30 ,my husband said yes thats great so we took van to be washed and polished rushed around getting some last bits done in it then rushed back to wait no body called or turned up we waited and waited thinking they might be running late .i sent a email the next day saying thankyou for not turning up ,and thankyou for not even phoning us to let us no you wouldnt be coming and as you quessed i never got a reply back .and they call thereself a company im sure this as happened to even more people aswell if so please comment below thanks
