I put down a (supposedly refundable - that what's they put on the receipt), £500 deposit on credit card to secure what looked like a clean and well priced VW. I was unable to test drive it due to it's location in the showroom and they didn't have time to move cars before closing. I came back a week later to purchase it but the car lacked power on the test drive. I requested my money back but was refused. The options they presented were for me to pay for an electronic test at my cost at the local vw dealer or see them in the small claims court. Be aware.

Only purchase a car from this very poorly run family garage if you are prepaired to walk away with brought as seen ringing in your ears. And prepaired to sort any problems out yourself.

DO NOT deal with these people!!!!! . Under NO circumstances should you part with any money. You will live to regret it. I have left a 1-star rating because you have to. I wouldnt be giving them that if i didnt have to.

purchased a car from adventure, was very easy, good price nice people and found it to be a good experience. would use again without fail

Brought a mini cooper from adventure autos, dealt with Laura, lovely young lady, had all paper work present, test drove car was perfect, 12 months mot completed and a service, dont be put off by other reviews as i will def buy from this company again

I purchased an audi a4 convertible from Adventure and had a very positive experience. Im glad that i didnt take any notice of some of the bad reviews on this company as i do think its unfair to hear one side of the story. I am a single mother of 2 and this was a big purchase to me,Laura was helpful and made me feel at ease straight away (much prefer dealing with a women when buying a car)

My first dealings with adventure autos and my last.the service was terrible.I saw a car and after agreeing to a part ex price on my car agreed to go ahead with the sale only to find out after having to call again and again as was wanting to put a deposit down that they had decided to offer much less for my car.anyway after some thought still decided to go ahead with the sale once again wanted to leave a deposit down as was 400 miles away and didn't want the car to be sold before me getting down there,called them up again and again and as she was with a customer or some other promised to call me back and take my card details she never did .by that time I had given up.such terrible service and false promises,I decided to buy else where.I got a much better car and much better trade in price for my old car.and after 6 months I see adventure autos still have that car for sale.the same car they were boasting about that the phone hasn't stopped ringing about and they are guaranteed to sell it within hours if I didn't go ahead with it.

Would I recommend them to anyone else?no chance.

Seen a top marquee £11k car on their website, paid deposit. Was promised the car would be valeted and taxed when we got there, it was not. It was filthy and the excuse was that it had been under the trees for the last week, I was told the day before I travelled down (160miles) that it was cleaned that day. Two front tyres were on mandatory warnings, was offered to have them replaced with the cheapest of cheap, declined and took a part payment towards decent tyres. Had nothing but problems with the car since day one which they did rectify but x3 round trips at 320 miles a time did not help. Be very careful when buying here and do your homework. I had the car for x3 months and have just managed to sell it for £9k, thats after spending another £1500 on it!
