The period was similar to the previous review except I phoned up before the holiday weekend and was assured that I'd get it on Saturday since they would send it next day delivery for free for the weekend that would normally cost more. Saturday came, no camera delivered. They didn't honour their sales promise unless it was stuck in the post.

Bank holiday passed, Tuesday arrived no camera. Phone call it turned out they hadn't sent it, "problems with the dispatch department" [$]. Was promised it would leave that day.

Still nothing Wednesday lunch time, no email to say it had been dispatched and the web site just shows order taken. Still does, they took my money via VISA on Friday.

Desperation found the camera at a store in London, £10 more. Phoned to check whether it had been delivered, no. Phoned them they said it had been dispatched and they would phone back with tracker number. Left it. They did phone back with tracker number and it arrived on Wednesday late.

Not a good experience since one has been caught before by a fly by night internet operator but got ones money back. This time Amazon didn't have it, but in the middle of all of this at £60 more, and the London store who could give it you in hand £10 more. The camera only hit the store in this period.

In the end the camera was fine, the seals on the box were not broken and I did save £60 from the Amazon order and I got it before they could have dispatched it. Given that I'm taking to Japan from where it's just arrived from for a trip timing was crucial. Panasonic cameras bought in Japan only have Japanese menu's built in with no language change so that wasn't an option.

So basically Sun Digital let themselves down by promising to deliver it at the weekend when they had no intention of shipping it till after the bank holiday. A straight reply of that we use a courier service and it only operates week days would have been better than fed an answer that they were not going to do which wasn't truthful. Their web site and system does does not update when the product is shipped, nor do they email dispatch details. It isn't Amazon in it's processes.

If the situation rose again ideally I would opt for the personal pick up in London from a camera store rather than the hassle costing a bit more, but then as said I haven't been done and it's the real thing for the UK market not a grey import. The timing of the trip made one take a chance of using an operator that one was not familiar with rather than the angst of going on holiday without the 2012 model of the camera that came out in late August e.g. the week before bank holiday Monday.

I found Sun Digital from a general internet search and was pleased to see a phone number that was answered personally and stock was checked for me. I had previously found other sites that stock this camera but there was either no phone number shown or the number did not connect, which made me very wary. Even so, I thought it over for a couple of days, by which time it was Bank Holiday weekend! I ordered on line over the weekend and the camera was dispatched on the Tuesday after Bank Holiday. I received it the next morning, just before ten, personally delivered by courier. I would not hesitate to recommend Sun Digital and will love my new camera even more when I have worked out how to use it!

Found Sun Digital from a general search for a Panansonic camcorder. The Sundigital price was significantly cheaper than all high street or price comparison websites, also they offered a very competitive bundle price for the camera 32GB card and case. Danny confirmed the camera price included the essential 2 year parts and labour plus 3 year parts only warranty, and quoted extremely generous discounts for an extra 32GB chip and a spare Panasonic battery. Danny promised that Sun Digital would meet my short delivery requirement. I placed my order at 1600 hours on a Thursday and it was delivered at 1200 hours on the Saturday two days later.

Well done Sun Digital, excellent assistance, excellent price and excellent delivery.

Excellent piece of kit at the right price for the total package.

Delivery was outstanding as was with me the following day by special courier all with in the price.

I am very pleased with my TZ30. I got great service from Danny at Sun Digital. Received camera the next day (Saturday).

Makes a refreshing change to talk to someone on the phone regarding your purchase who is easy to contact and very helpful.

I looked on line for the best price for this package. That was camara 32GBSD card spare battery carry case and screen protectors. Sun Digital price was the best to cover all that I required.

I ordered on Thursday afternoon and the goods arrived by post on Tuesday morning.

I have been researching the purchase of a Nikon D800 Camera for some time now. Firstly the long wait for it to be released due to the problems in Japan and then in Thailand with the floods. I finally placed my pre-order with Sun Digital as they honoured the first price when it was released. Tried other major suppliers and found that they increase the price and still had to wait for it coming into stock. Finally I received the camera this date as promised by Danny.

I would recommend this company as they kept me in form periodically of were I was in the queue and that no increase in price was added

same as the other reviewer, I ordered the black GF3 with 14mm pancake lens from sun digital on Monday evening. I got a call from them on Tuesday, saying black is out of stock and white is still available, which I gladly accepted because they had the gf3 at the lowest price. (other companies like Park Cameras, SRS and wilkinson all sold out weeks ago). Received my GF3 + 14mm + Light room 3 today (Wed), I'd say Sun Digital is a fantastic company!

(haven't got my cashback from Panasonic yet, but since it's a UK stock I'm quite confident I'd receive it soon)

I ordered the camera and explained I had a deadline for receiving it. It arrived in time AND with a superior camera case to the one ordered free of charge. Excellent service I call that. I can recommend the company to anyone.
