Ordered a canon eos 500d with a 18-200 lens, it was much cheaper than in stores so I thought I'd give them a go. It took 4 days to ship from Hong Kong and they took care of the vat for me as well! They dont have a phone number but they reply to emails all most instantly and they are UK based. I've recommended the site to a couple of friends and have not had any reports back yet!

Ordered a Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 from Octopus because they had the cheapest price (about £200 cheaper than UK RRP). They are based in the UK but import from Hong Kong to save on price - when I contacted them with questions they answered very promptly and accurately. It took just two days for my goods to be Fed Exed from HK and they arrived in full working order.

Many photographers understandably have reservations about ordering from companies that import from abroad but my experience from Octopus couldn't have been better - I got my lens much cheaper than if I bought it in the UK and it arrived just as quickly.

Ordered a Canon 500d 18-55 kit from Octopus Electronics they were the cheapest I could find on Google, contacted them on Live Chat and they replied very quickly and answered all of my questions. I was glad to learn that if the camera was caught by customs they would rebate my charges. Decided to take a risk and ordered using Paypal in case anything went wrong. Arrived in 3 days. Only problem really is that the manuf. warranty isnt valid here but they do give you their own 12 month warranty. All in all, good experience.
